The Great American Bagel

Food was poor in quality at best. I ordered the bagel with a description similar to a calzone with cheese and tomato sauce, what i received was the sorry excuse for a bagel with only a small amount of mozzarella cheese.

It's a self serve place,plan to wait they had one person working with a long line. The Supreme eagle lacked any flavor bagel was not fresh.

Possibly the worst run airport kiosk by HMS in America (and that’s REALLY saying something given their subpar quality). Waited over 40 minutes to receive just an untoasted bagel with cream cheese with only about 4 other patrons in line. I was asked on 3 different occasions what bagel I wanted to substitute for their plain bagels being out (which sounds silly to even write) because they kept abandoning my order halfway through to fill another one. Both workers were spending the whole time referring to laminated recipe sheets, which suggests a terrible staffing issue that nobody with experience was working. Ultimately, I still got an incorrect order with the wrong type of cream cheese (mind you 1 of only 2 ingredients in my order). This place is just a disaster that should be avoided unless your only other alternative is starvation.

The sandwich wasn’t made anywhere close to what was ordered and on top of that the taste was off. Should have gone to Shipyard 🤬

I walk over to counter and instead of being treated or told digital order. I get blank stare. I wanted a raisin bagel toasted cream cheese. There menu irritating you litterally would have to scroll all the way until you see bagel or your choice. Im thinking its next menu i press plain with cream cheese press next. No option to pick bagel type. So it then asks for your name so I typed Cinnamon Raisin Bagel as my name. Mmmm barely toasted 8.00 plain bagel.

The service - or rather lack of service - at Great American Bagel Portland Airport is non-existent. The two guys behind the counter BLATANTLY ignored the customers in the growing line at a busy airport (Aug 22nd at 2:40PM - their shift hours). They couldn’t be bothered to say they’ll be with us a moment or anything. People were looking around confused - did you order? Are we waiting for something? My family and I and a few others just left with our $$$.

Got a frozen bagel sandwich then got attitude when I asked for them to warm it up. Thank God for precooked bacon and sausage patty.

Serves up cold breakfast sandwich’s and way to fix it is to take your sandwich back and microwave it.
