There’s a new Holy Donut in Brunswick. $5 a donut is steep with no discount for buying a dozen. Potato donuts are not light and fluffy, but dense and dunk able in your morning coffee. Hubs ran out and got 2 of each of the vegan donuts minus the plain one. I had the moka pot ready when he got back. We tried each of them. The cinnamon sugar had our highest rating. this place needs music and more seating badly. and perhaps an air freshener in the bathroom. my gf and i got a whoopie donut, maple bacon donut, and a key lime donut. the donuts feel more like really moist cakes with flakey sweet icing. i liked em but idk if i would identify them as donuts. the whoopie donut was simple and satisfying and the bacon on the maple bacon donut was fresh and crispy. the keylime however was sort of artificial tasting and just wasn't my cup of tea....
The service was quick all though we had a long queue that went outside of the building.. we tried the Lemon and Blueberry glaze.. it wasn’t tooo sweet but the right sweetness and all things good. So definitely recommend when you are in Portland..!
