Hot damn that's a delicious Reuben. It's just too small for a 6 ft 220 lb guy. And since the prices are a bit higher and the sandwich size is (relatively) small, that makes this place a bit too expensive since you'll probably want two sandwiches, making it $20+ for an actual meal. I ended up stopping by Amato's afterwards to get more food so my sandwich from The Local Press seemed less like a snack. Side note: Amato's has really gone downhill. After going to places like Big G's that have sandwiches so big they'll have your back in a fist fight, this was definitely disappointing. Still, that was probably the tastiest Reuben I've ever had.

I sent someone to get my order this afternoon. Someone had taken it. They made it right by us and also the sandwiches were all amazing. I got the cheesecake and it wasn’t covered in blueberry sauce. It had blueberries on it. Absolutely amazing. Best I’ve had in such a long time. Pricing was reasonable. Little high but what isn’t? Couple dollars more than a chain sub shop and I got a quality home made sandwich. Thank you guys! Will return!!!

Loved this place. Stopped by to grab a quick salad and sandwich. Got the beet salad, islander panini (V) and good life panini. All were delicious! There's a side for take out and a side for dine in. There's also some seating outside. Service is fairly quick even at peak times. Friendly staff and an awesome bigfoot logo. Grabbed a shirt since the logo was so great!
Vegetarian options: There are 6 vegetarian options. 2 salads and 4 sandwiches. 2 of the sandwiches are pressed the other 2 are cold
My all time favorite sandwich place. Since moving down to New Jersey I frequently complain to my friends about how nothing can compare to my favorite local sandwich joint. It is a highlight and must have of everytime I am back and visiting in town. The singular downside is that my favorite sandwich of theirs (the Orchard Turkey) is so tasty I too frequently don't try the others, but every time I do I never regret it. I especially enjoy their specials, and follow them on Instagram just to see what they've got, even while away.
The 62+ club of Portland stopped by for a late lunch after a tour of Winslow Homers place. The food was awesome, service was great. Had the room adjacent to the order side. Great job gentleman
