For a long time I've loved the sandwiches and deli foods/meats at this establishment, but being handicapped have always had to have it delivered through expensive delivery services making the cost almost double. Feeling stronger, today, I took the long walk there (not an easy feat) to discover a large step at their entryway. My cane was not going to help me without a handrail, and there was no other means for a crippled to gain entry unassisted. I peered through the large windows to see several employees looking bored, and not a single customer in the place. I waved my cane to (hopefully) show my situation, pointed to the step, and was merely stared at as though a homeless inconvenience. All I needed was minor assistance for a handful of seconds, just to ensure I didn't fall on their property. Instead: Nothing. So, sayonara The Other Side - happy your business is so good you can afford to turn away customers during a pandemic.

This place is only okay. Ordered breakfast sandwiches which took quite awhile to make and then the egg was undercooked and runny. Whether this was intentional or not, it makes for a to-go sandwich to be extremely difficult to eat. Cute shop but disappointing sandwich.

The pork belly banh mi was an absolute delight. Thick strips of pork belly went beautifully with the pickled veggies. Not sure how but the bread had the best crispy crust that doesn't attack the roof of your mouth. Would easily eat this daily given the chance. The BLT is a close second. Hits the spot on salty meat with crunchy veggie and so thankful they are easier on the mayo so it doesn't turn into a soup sandwich.Can't wait to go back!!

Went here for lunch on my break, I got the shaved steak and cheese! It was decent. Only thing that was bad and definitely was noticeable as I opened the sammich was a decent chunk of the sandwich was burnt.

Got the pork belly and the mushroom grinders on our way through Portland. Both were absolutely delicious! Online ordering had an hour later as the earliest time to pick up, so ended up calling it in and it only took 15 minutes.
Excellent local deli! We live around the corner and often go here for sandwiches. They also have a small selection of wine, beer, and other nice to-go prepared food items.

I love supporting local businesses, and this place was no exception, until I was treated rudely by a few of their staff members. Also, the sandwiches are good, but not $13 - $15 good, and they take forever.

Order WELL ahead of time. Online orders take an hour and I was told in-person orders take about 20 minutes. Staff are passive aggressive and seemed put out when I arrived early for my order, thinking that there was no way it would take an hour to make a sandwich, which ended up burnt around the edges.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, they didn’t have what I ordered so I asked for a refund. They refunded me everything but a little over $2. I called asking for the rest of my money back and they assured me someone would get back to me and they never did. I know it’s only $2 but I never ended up buying anything...
