A picturesque execution of a modern rustic cafe. Cozy without being crowded achieved by a perfect amount of seating. Meant of the seats have access to an outlet making it a good place to work if you're there early enough . They use real cider (not the powdered nonsense), and there are good vegan food options, all served with the pragmatic efficacy and kind smiles. Good parking options around the block. This is a place I'll look forward to visiting again the next time I come through town.

I loved the Proper Cup! I was visiting from out of town and their Chai is DELICIOUS! The atomsphere is so lively and the perfect spot to take a break from a walk. Very friendly service and tasty pastries!

It’s been years since I’ve been and I’ve always held them in high regards, but after learning that they just let an employee go who requested time off for gender reaffirming surgery, says all I need to know. I won’t be going back and I hope the rest of the queer community follows suit until Proper Cup remedies this situation.

The business is so environmentally conscious, the atmosphere is great, and the location is super convenient for living off peninsula. Ultimately I think their menu offers some good options, the best avocado toast my partner has ever had is a big win, I just wish they had a bigger food menu or their portions were more sizeable.
The drink menu is where they really shine with all their alternative milk options, encouraging you to bring your own reusable mugs, and just making really great coffee
