We're not usually in the area when The Proper Cup is open, but this week we were! My daughter and I needed a spot to sit, caffeinate (me), and have a second breakfast (her) -- before heading over to her summer camp for the week.The Proper Cup has excellent coffee, tasty baked goods (my favorite was the cinnamon roll), a punny wifi password, and a pleasant atmosphere. They didn't even blink when I presented my reusable coffee cup from home.Today, I forgot my wallet. It was possible for me to pay, but it was a whole thing and in the middle of it, my daughter announced that she needed the bathroom, and no, she could not hold it and please would I go with her? The employee manning the register was gracious and patient with us, and for that, I am SO grateful. Thank you, The Proper Cup!

Stopped in once and got an excellent espresso. If I lived nearby, I'd keep coming back for the espresso. Haven't tried any other drinks. The walnut/chocolate chip cookie was good, though. Given the rainy weather that day, I wouldn't call the atmosphere cozy.

Chill place to get work done and they serve a great drip coffee. Cons are that the hours are short and also the espresso drinks are pretty pricey - especially if you need a milk substitute. Overall a good vibe, though.
