Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck

The food was amazing! I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was so good my boyfriend actually ordered one as well (he’s not huge on vegan food)! If you have any dietary restrictions, the owners communicate very well and will answer questions!

Everything about this truck is awesome. The menu, the prices, the smiling faces that take and serve your order and especially the food. Yummy! Buffalo chickn sandwich was delicious and the fries were perfection. The lemonade was cold and refreshing.

Coleen and Tony are wonderful and the food is great. My favorite is the brekky breakfast sandwich and my husband loves the cheesy jalapeño tots. The Portland area is lucky to have this vegan food truck that both satisfies vegans and non-vegans alike.

OMG, I am not vegan but like going plant-based when I can and was totally blown away! I had the totally awesome burger and it was literally the best burger I’ve ever had. I’ll be going back again and again!

My family and I were on a bike ride when we happened to stumble onto this food truck, and boy were we lucky! I have severe allergies to dairy and egg and I didn't have to worry about them at all here. It was amazingly easy to get food that tasted great and was 100% safe for me to eat (no concerns about cross contamination either!). I got the cinnamon bun and my mom got the fries with what I refer to as "fakin bacon" and mayonnaise. I was blown away by it all. My dad even gave the cinnamon bun the "tastes just like!" stamp of approval. And the fries were simply to die for. (I definitely recommend dipping the bacon in the mayo). If we are ever in the Portland area again we'll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for the Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck. Thank you guys so much for an amazing surprise during our bike ride!!

The food truck was in Westbrook for the opening of the Meow Lounge and it was our first time trying it - loved it! Energetic staff and really tasty food, especially the fries & sauce on the burger.

When ever I drive through Portland, Maine, I always try to swing by the Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck for a bite. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. During good weather they are somewhere in the surrounding area serving food out of their truck. In the winter, they are located just off the highway in their prepping location, I believe. They will take your order and credit card info and then walk the food out to you when you call and let them know you have arrive. I've never had a bad meal from TAVFK and highly recommend them whether you are vegan or not.
