Always impressed, never surprised! This beautiful small business makes their donuts to order, giving a crisp, warm, and delicious donut! I got the sugar rush box and it was the best offer to represent their store. It had a variety of flavors; from cookies n cream to lemon zinger, these bite sized donuts were absolutely delightful. I highly recommend for anyone that visits portland!

These are the best donuts I've ever had other than one other establishment in Carolina Beach, NC. Visitors and locals alike have a new must try destination in downtown Portland.I was always a big fan of the food truck but am so glad there is a central location now that I can always depend on to get my hot and fresh donut fix.

My sister and I really enjoyed the donuts rom this truck at a concert yesterday! They are a bit pricey, but totally worth a bit of a splurge. You can buy 6 little donuts at a time in a cute little pink box. The people working the truck were really friendly and got us our donuts quickly! What a little delight. When eating them, you want to eat a bunch at the same size because they are so small, but either have water on hand to balance the sugar or think about pacing yourself! If you are hanging out outside with your box be careful, though, because the boxes are not ant-proof. I ordered the Bamm bamm ones with the fruity pebbles, and my sister got the Boston Creme.

Um yes. I still think about these doughnuts. They are smaller than your average doughnut, so it's really important you get TWO BOXES... just kidding, but really. They are warm and delicious and their flavors never get boring. Prepare to wait in a line, but for an amazing product. So worth it.

My son took us to The Eastern Promenade in Portland where Urban Sugar parked their truck last week. Hot and fresh bite-sized gourmet donuts are their specialty. We ordered and had to wait about 15 minutes for our box, but it was a nice sunny day and we were in a park. How bad is that? We chose the Dealer's Choice, 6 donuts for $7. Every one was a tiny bite of heaven. In our box was a Fruity Pebbles covered one, a Black and White, a plain, a Maple Bacon, (my son's favorite!) a Strawberry Cheesecake and a Cherry filled (?) I think. Doesn't matter, I would have eaten anything they gave me. They are that good! You can also get the "Sugar Rush" box of 25 donuts for $25. Way too dangerous but worth every calorie. Honestly I would walk 25 miles for ONE bite-sized donut. Get there early or you might miss out on your favorite. Thank you Urban Sugar for the best part of my visit to Portland Maine!

Mmmm these are dangerous because you don't realize how many you're eating since they're so tiny! After a run to the Eastern Promenade, I shared two boxes (a dozen) of their mini doughnuts. The Cookies and Cream were pretty tasty, but I liked the Fruity Pebbles more. I really enjoyed the flavor and size of the donuts, but I love trying lots of different kinds and you didn't have that option- you had to get six of one flavor, which doesn't seem too reasonable.
Fun flavors, nice people, 6 per flavor or do what I did and buy 25 for $25. I avoided lines by getting there early.The donuts smell so good!

I love urban sugar donuts. They are always made fresh, warm and soft, and their Bam Bam donuts are my favorite. it is always fun finding them in different locations in Portland or in the summertime, as well as summer events and concerts!!!

With a strong doughnut scene and many options in Maine, Urban Sugar is at the top. At first look, you can see they care about their product. I would classify these mini-doughnuts as a hybrid doughnut/dessert due to the unique flavors and options available. This means you can enjoy them in the morning or afternoon. Plus, the fact they are mini-doughnuts, you do not have to feel guilty about eating 4, 5, or even 6 of them in one sitting (which I may have done on a few different occasions). I would highly recommend you giving this place a shot if you want to have a great doughnut. My only suggestion is to go earlier in the day as they may run out of options if you wait too long.

Urban Sugar is hands down the best donut place in Maine! I made the amateur mistake of buying one box to share with my hubby on the first visit. BIG mistake. We know better now and always get a box of six each which gives us a chance to try two flavors. They are mini donuts so it's totally okay to eat 6 on you own in one sitting. You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors but I suggest going big and getting a signature flavor. Apple of My Eye, Strawberry cheesecake and Boston Cream are some of my favorites.

The donuts were cinnamon sugar with a cool whip and apple pie center with graham cracker crumbs. Talk about delicious. The people that work here are also very friendly and quick. I am so glad I found this gem. I have no other words, other than I was trying to hunt them down the next day to get more.
