Intimate and high quality restaurant with multiple bars and seating areas. They coursed our meal perfectly. Dave made a great evening for us.
We decided to go back again, and had another fantastic experience with the rest of the menu. Applause on the creativity and hospitality here. CT made a second trip worth remembering.

avoid this place. there are better options in town.
Really beautiful restaurant. Very busy and noisy. Giant steps at the entrance. Food was okay and the house cocktails were interesting.
It was the day before my wife’s birthday, and although I made a reservation six weeks prior, we were escorted to two very uncomfortable chairs at the cramped bar in the room at the rear. . Oddly, ‘Bar seating’ was the only option when I made the reservation. Bartender was as helpful as she could be while under alot of pressure. Very crowded and noisy. Difficult to make eye contact with the bartender when we wanted to order, and other employees just rushed by.
Some restaurants go out of the way to make you feel special and provide you with a memorable experience. Not this place. Plus, they offer 3oz of lobster as an add-on to your salad, for a whopping $32! That comes to more than $150 a pound!
Worst of all:the people sitting next to us just walked in. No reservations. ♿️

Still thinking about the pasta I had here when we visited Maine, it was delicious. The atmosphere, the location, the food and drinks… everything was perfect. I’d highly recommend for a fun night out!

An aesthetically pleasing, insta-worthy exterior and interior that is moody and romantic. The food and drinks are top notch, including the gluten free pasta! Be sure to make a reservation unless you’re willing to wait 90 minutes (worth it!)

Wow, i can say so much about this place. The food..the service..the drinks..and the atmosphere. Everything was perfection. I went twice while i was here for 6 days. I don’t want to even say what i had, because everything on the menu is to die for. Both times i went the servers were so friendly and even though it was busy, they never seemed frantic and didn’t make us feel rushed. We didn’t have to have reservations either time because i think it’s the slower season. I definitely would recommend calling about reservations if you want to try it, solely because you MUST eat here!

Jen was so amazing. She was so genuine. And she gave the best recommendations she checked out on us when we needed and was so attentive! She had great wine recommendations and was genuine about her recommendations for food. She always had a smile and could clearly care for the business if you’re coming here definitely ask for her. As for the food, it was amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend their wine less is phenomenal and their cocktails are out of this world a little difficult to get a reservation but would definitely recommend coming here! Their back room is so interesting and super cute

Absolutely beautiful location, it is gorgeous inside and out. Good service.
The pasta was perfectly cooked but the seasoning was uneven. The burrata lacked flavor and is more of a salad than a shareable.
The focaccia was herby and dense but served with plain olive oil.
The pasta is al dente and very filling, but suffered a bit from over or under seasoning.
The scallops were exquisitely cooked with a nice sear - delicious!
Overall, the main menu is somewhat limited.
The desserts were incredible, the chocolate caramel flourless cake was decadent, the chocolate sorbet to was rich and smooth -delicious!
The lemon tiramisu was very good, smooth, sweet and creamy. The caramelized lemon zest on top was a masterstroke. Yum.

Excellent Italian restaurant in downtown Portland. The food is great and the service comes with a smile. The starter salads are large enough for 2, and I can recommend the Lolla Rossa Salad. The tripoline pasta was also excellent. The wine list is limited, but has good wines available . Definitely worth a visit

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary from Kentucky, and we couldn’t have imagine spending it anywhere else! The atmosphere was incredible, it was romantic but also relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the whipped ricotta, braised short ribs, the agnolotti, and for dessert we had a slice of blueberry cheesecake. Our waitress Aly G. was phenomenal, she recommended the shakerato cocktail which was something I wouldn’t have thought to try, it was fabulous. She was incredibly knowledgeable with each dish, and was able to give an amazing wine pairing with dinner. Between Aly’s great service and the delicious food, it made for a very special evening. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful spot. The back room is stunning, excellent cocktails (and quite large) and the food was just as good. Ragu is a must.

The experience at this restaurant was mixed.
• Service & Atmosphere: The hostess greeted multiple parties with a loud, unfriendly tone, which set a poor first impression. On the other hand, our servers were attentive and genuinely friendly, though they lacked knowledge of the menu and were unable to describe dishes accurately or make recommendations. The wall sconces were flickering and uncomfortably close to guests’ heads, which felt like a safety issue.
• Food & Drinks: Appetizers were a highlight: the whipped ricotta (delicious but spicier than expected, served with store-bought breadsticks), meatballs (flavorful but tiny), mussels, and arancini were all tasty. Salads, however, were disappointing: the lolla rossa was a flavorless heap of lettuce, and the Caesar was average. Entrées were inconsistent: the lumache contained very little pasta and had a noticeable level of heat despite being described as “not spicy,” while the campanelle was underwhelming. Drinks were hit-or-miss: the wine list was excellent, cocktails were good, but the Aperol spritz was flat and improperly balanced.
Overall, the restaurant has potential, especially with attentive servers and some standout appetizers, but menu knowledge, consistency in food preparation, and attention to safety and hospitality need improvement.

My now boyfriend took us here for our first real date, he asked for a nice seat for that reason and they delivered 😊 Always a great experience and one of the best atmospheres near the waterfront
