Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, waitress was great! Food flavor was delicious but potion size and price is ridiculous.

Recent Saturday night visit. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. A delightful assortment of craft cocktails. We sat at the busy bar and ordered the meatballs and short rib. Meatballs were tasty but came out lukewarm. The short rib was charred on the outside and dry on the inside. Not what you’d expect in a short rib. No check in after the food was delivered by our server/bartender. Excellent drinks but the food missed the mark for us

Absolutely wonderful. Small plates, shareable plates, big plates, INCREDIBLE wine selection. If you’re visiting Portland, take your mind off the lobster for a moment and give ViA VECCHiA a try. They also have local seafare!
Ridiculously over priced
Portions were ok
Drinks were good
Wait staff was great
$20 for tiny side dish of plain pasta. Seriously?!?
Short ribs were dried out.
Very unfortunate experience.

The ambiance was amazing and festive. We sat at the bar and Noah was beyond exceptional as a mixologist, best martinis!

The front entrance has a stunning presence and from the street the interior looked opulent. At first glance at the menu I thought it looked limited but yummy so I booked a dinner reservation. Boy was I glad that I did! The food quality was exceptional from the in-house made bread to the in-house fresh pasta down to desserts. The cocktails and wine selection was robust and delicious. The interior is just as opulent and sexy inside as it looked from outside, walking by. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Via Vecchia is our favorite date night spot in Portland. The menu has something for everyone while being relatively affordable. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is just as great. The pasta dishes are *chefs kiss. If you have a chance to stop in for a drink, or want a night out, make sure to stop here.

I went in suddenly because i had nowhere to go with my wife. To my surprise, they seated us quickly! The menu was not what i had expected both portion and money wise but the food was very delicious as well. The atmosphere was beautiful, very romantic, and sophisticated. The service was very good BUT… a man with long curly hair serving us our drinks, had an absolute foul smell. The smell botherd us all night to the point where I wanted to get up and say something. It was sad that the biggest thing i remember from that night was an genuine disrespect to my smell senses. I think that the place is very clean but i hope that management makes sure everyone is in check when it comes to thwir hygene.
