What a great new place... the Ramen is fantastic, fresh noodles, crispy veg, broth is flavorful without being heavy. And the salad is great... normally we love a ginger based dressing, this is mayo based and is delightful.
This is Watami’s second restaurant in Maine, and I’m so glad it opened in Portland. Their menu is incredibly extensive—you can always find something you want to eat and drink. They offer sushi, ramen, poke bowls, and even bubble tea. Every time I walk in and open the menu, I immediately start feeling excited, and it has never let me down. I can’t wait to keep exploring more of their dishes and drinks!

Our waiter, Bill, was excellent and checked in often with us and was kind and always smiling. The food was good - closer to 3.5 stars. The sake selection was great and I recommend the sake...
