Some like old antique places and find them charming. I do not. Our server was wonderful in my opinion and the food runners. All food was prepared well. My issue was amount of options and flavors. Interesting flavors did not love. Quality preparation. Very few drink options if you aren’t drinking alcohol. Their menu rotates so maybe it’s better on a different menu.
This place is definitely a contender for the best restaurant in Portland. I had perfect sunchokes for appetizer and halibut for the main, both were supperb. It’s the service that really takes this place to the next level. I went here just for a nice dinner with family, but our waitress made it feel like a special occasion. She brought out some port wine for dessert, completely free of charge, and it perfectly rounded out our meal. I had never payed much attention to port, and...
It was our first time dining there. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary appetizer. We would definitely recommend it and will return in the future too.
