Cashier takes your order and your payment. When your food is ready they call out your name. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food including myself. I had pulled pork with a side of cheese grits and collard greens. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere

Service really is bad unless you sit at the bar. The staff really was not helpful, but to be fair it was busy. We only came because we could not get reservations at Batson... food has gone downhill since my last visit here

One of my favorite spots! A casual environment with a great beer menu, solid entertainment (like TVs and trivia nights!), and even better food. Can't wait to go back!

As a weekly regular at Wilson County BBQ, I love this restaurant. With that said, this past weekend, I held my company party here and it was beyond my already high expectations. The food, space and service were outstanding. Richard, Joe and Cody were very helpful leading up to the party with answering any questions we had and the staff working the event were beyond gracious. Highly recommended!

I don’t think they’ve ever actually remembered to include the sauce the menu clearly says the food comes with when I order pickup. Now I have sixty dollars worth of bland bbq!! Awesome!!!!!

Very inefficient setup. Wait in a long line to finally put your order in. Wait by the bar for a long time to get the drinks you ordered. Hope there's still a table available or someone in your party was able to get one. Wait at the table to get a text that your food is ready and go all the way to the other side of the restaurant to get your food. Discover that they always get your order wrong. Like. Every time. Forget about braving the giant line to get it fixed. Just eat what they gave you. Do you want a second drink? Forget about it. 80 bucks for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks and I gotta wait in line, pick up my stuff in 2 different places, and bus my own table after? There are definitely better options with table service in Portland at that price.

Stopped by to grab a few beers and some BBQ! Great local beer selection with a few not-so-local beers, as well. Tons of space and a great patio area. Our server Joe was super friendly and great. The burnt ends were spectacular. Literal melt in your mouth with just the right amount of sauce. You get so much food with a meal. The main, 2 sides, and either hush puppies or a biscuit. Always go with the hush puppies—it is a BBQ place after all. The Mac and cheese was a little dry, but everything else made up for it. The chicken and dumpling soup was unexpectedly good, considering I’ve never gotten soup at a BBQ place. Will definitely be back!

Best fried chicken sandwiches (my husband gets) and best fried chicken platters and biscuits I’ve had. The service is always quick and I like the easy atmosphere. We developed a tradition of going here when we lost power in the winter at home and it’s filled with good memories for us, we ended up having our small post wedding ceremony celebration here, no reservations. It went so incredibly well and made for even more good memories! Definitely check this place out!
