Yosaku never disappoints. We were seated at the sushi bar for an early dinner on the weekend- usually we would recommend getting a reservation here as the wait can get long! The sushi chefs are great, answered questions and were very friendly with us. We received a complimentary little amuse-bouche appetizer from the sushi chef at our end of the bar. If there is a gateway to heaven to be found in Portland, Maine, it may well be discovered between the chopsticks at Yosaku. The quality is consistently excellent, service fast and friendly and I haven’t once left dissatisfied. I highly endorse the lunch specials!

Staying in Portland for a few days at the Holiday inn. It was a short walk to your wonderful restaurant. I had a friendly greeting and sat at a nice small comfortable table. My server was great and easy to work with. I started with a refreshing Kirin draft beer. I then had a nice cup of miso soup and then some porky pork dumplings.
