My daughter and I had lunch here a couple weeks ago. I ordered a classic lobster roll. The lobster was good quality. However, it was advertised as having light mayo but it had no detectable mayo so it lacked flavor. My daughter got a Haddock sandwich which she loved and the wedge style fries that came with it were delicious.
There was light rain and the seats in the covered area were drenched with water and not wiped down. We sat in our car to eat.
We will return on a sunny day and I will switch to the buttered lobster roll or try other menu items.
The jumbo lobster rolls were AMAZING!!!!
This place is right across the street from where I live. Guess it’s time I review them 😄
I’ve patronized Fishermen’s Catch a couple of times, mostly because it’s convenient. They offer their lobster rolls on special at least once a year for a few days so that is what I wait for. Lobster rolls are pretty good but could use a tad more flavor. They used to be $35 but now it’s $38. Would I pay that for a lobster roll with chips? I think not.
I brought my mom here on a separate occasion and she did enjoy her steamed lobster. That time I got their haddock sandwich which came with a side of fries. The fries were crispy and tasty.
Service is usually pretty quick even when there is a little bit of a line. They only have outside dining which could get hectic because it is off of 302.
Overall, they do a solid job but they are on the expensive side.
Great Lobster and Haddock!!
Great lobster rolls on sale
Normally this is a good place to go for food. Went there on Thursday 5 June for evening meal. Ordered the haddock dinner. Fillet of haddock was small, thin and over cooked to the point of being dry. Not sure if they have new cooks or what. Usually I am pleased with the meal but this one was the worst I've had here.
Good food, enjoy it.
Glad we made it to this place just before it closed for the season! Great Seafood.

Beautiful Labor Day, I wanted to eat one more lobster roll before the season ended so I went to Fisherman’s. The ordering process was painless and they game me great options on the menu. I say that the atmosphere was on point and it was perfect way to spend the last day of summer. The lobster roll was overflowing and honestly could have ordered a second bun just to eat what fell off the bun. The owner even came out to say hello ! Great spot and I would highly suggest .

Wow. We read reviews and expected the seafood to be good. It was beyond good, it was excellent. We decided to do takeout. Everything was packed correctly. We were even late picking it up. ( picked up ice cream pint from the dugout). Everything was still hot ?. Plenty of clarified butter, tarter, hot sauce, etc. The twin lobster roll was packed with lobster meat. The scallops were perfect, whole belly clams were clean and fried to perfection. This guy is doing it right. Also, didn't try it, but they have a market with tank. Again, clean tank and display. Saw stuffed clams ( thought it was stuffed cohoags at first). Beautiful and ready to purchase and bake. Worth the trip.
Great service and ready fast.
Parking: Great place to sit. Picnic tables under tent.
Kid-friendliness: Kids meal chicken fingers, 2 mozzarella sticks, steak fries. For 10.00, a large portion.

For what I spent, should have been better. Fried shrimp were extra shrimpy, could you find smaller shrimp? Scallops were over cooked & greasy, sweet potato fries were soggy, and the cole slaw had a weird aftertaste.

Did a quick trip to Maine & this place was near our Airbnb - it was such a great fine. Great outdoor spots to sit - all covered - lobster rolls were great (I do like a heavy mayo dressing but that is definitely not their style - but I still really enjoyed it ) - I LOVED the fried pickles. It is a touch in the pricey side - but it seems right for what you’re getting. Portions were large and the rate of seafood nowadays is high. But it was a great find - we went both days we were in town!
Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly - outdoor seating is picnic table style.
