Snowfox is a grab and go sushi counter located inside a Hannaford supermarket. A variety of prepackaged combinations are available. Sometimes there are also side items available, such as seaweed salad or dumplings. Some of the combinations are vegetarian/vegan.

I think it’s pretty ridiculous to have the sushi section of Hannaford listed as a separate restaurant. That’s like having the bakery or deli listed separately! But having said that, Hannaford sushi is quite good in my opinion. It’s not fishy, always seems fresh.

We enjoyed a relaxed family meal here. Staff were helpful and accommodating of children - they were happy to provide plain rice for our less adventurous eaters. Closes quite early at 20:30.

Me and My friend went to bentos and we were blown away by the immaculate service from the man with long hair and a great nose

We were missing 2 items from our order - the lady on the phone didn’t believe we were missing anything and kept questioning us. We received only 4 items and were promised a refund but I don’t have much hope it’ll turn up… avoid!

The conveyor sushi was uninviting, served on plates which were discolouring: Nigiri presented with an excessive amount of hard, surprisingly chewy rice. A plate which had lost its cover was removed from the belt and then discreetly replaced at a different location with a new cover in place, notwithstanding the health and hygiene risks. Hot food ordered off the menu was of a much better standard, but beware the unnecessary micro charge if you ask for some sauce to supplement the meagre amount drizzled on the dish ... when queried, I was provided an education with the response, "That's how restaurants work" and told I was being rude. Hardly an endearing attitude.

Wanting sushi but also to sit out we ordered via the ap and it was very easy. Text to pickup within 20 min of opening. Teriyaki salmon great even as a take out and husband loved the Poke bowl. Would recommend.

The sushi is far better at different Hannaford locations. We needed a place to grab lunch quickly with dietary restrictions as other places were closed on a Sunday. Fresh ingredients and not dried out.

This is far from good or authentic Japanese food and over-priced. One example is that they put mayonnaise type dressing on some of the sushi and California rolls. Very bizarre. The dumplings were decent, but again, over-priced. One positive, is that it is social and novel, for Jersey.

We went for a late lunch. When we were there we were told we couldn’t order fresh sushi and had to get it from the conveyor belt, though this wasn’t a problem, the sushi on the belt was plentiful and of a decent variety. You could get hot food to order still however. Sushi was tasty and reasonably priced compared to most Jersey prices, in line with what you’d expect on mainland UK. However hot food was a bit on the pricy side and not amazing. Staff were helpful and attentive.
