Got take out there by mistake. Wanted food from Hong Kong. Called the wrong place, my bad. It is the worst chinese food I have ever had. It is disgusting. I will NEVER make that mistake again. $45 spent on nasty food

I have heard so many good things about this place so we decided to check it out, at first walk into the establishment the lighting was very dim but that didn't hide the pure filth of the area. We then found out they no longer had the buffet option (due to low staffing) very understandable so we decided on take out instead. We got our food (the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant) and made our journey 45 minutes home only to find out 1. Part of our Pou Pou platter was missing and 2. Our chicken lomein was far from enjoyable. The noodles were mush, and the chicken was so overcooked it was very hard and dryer than the sahara desert. I called to let them know what happened and basically say I was unhappy and see what we could do about it. I just wanted a refund, however I was told i could come back and have it remade. I kindly stated that i had no interest in eating anything else from their establishment. I was not offered the refund I asked for. Basically they should have a sign that reads "enter and eat at your own risk"

Good: open year round, 7 days a week. That's uncommon around here and refreshing. Food tastes fine, nothing extraordinary. Prices are decent.
Bad: Portions are pretty small compared to Camden Island. Don't expect leftovers.
Ugly: Dingy atmosphere. The walls and doors are dirty, most of the main area is unlit. The buffet area isn't available, stacked with boxes.
I guess takeout is a better option, if you assume the kitchen is cleaner than the rest of the restaurant...

I can't speak to the food or service as for the first time in 40 odd years, I simply walked out after being seated. Buffett is inoperable but still in the dining area and, like much of the place I could see on my walk through the unvented smoky unlit dining area, being used for storage of random junk in boxes. Absolute shambles, and I'm a pack rat. The dining conditions, light switches and the "divider"/"flooring" between the customer bathroom and kitchen cannot be up to health dept standards. Maybe the good reviews are from takeout, in which case ..please know this is where your food is coming from and be safe. If this is what the accessible areas look like, imagine the kitchen and walk ins.

The absolute best Chinese food you'll ever have. They've been one of my favorite restaurants since Cher was in her Do You Believe era , so they've been undefeated for a while now.10/10 the BEST.
Vegetarian options: The veggies are crisp and fresh, the rice is cooked to perfection, the ginger in the spring rolls is top notch, the bean curd is so full of flavor, everything is excellent.
The food is excellent. The tea is excellent. The service is excellent. Zero complaints. We've been eating here for 27 years!

We've been customers of this restaurant for 20 years. The quality is not consistent. I recently ordered some take out.The young man who is in charge of the counter was very rude.Since ,these days. he is the only person representing the restaurant the owners should be aware of this. Asian food in the midcoast area is not very good and disappointing. I am in no hurry to spend my money here again.
