Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. It's very obvious that the food is prepared with care and a lot of testing. Wine list was great and the service was top notch. I wish I lived closer... I'd be here once a month!

The farmer salad was truly delicious-- make sure to add the goat cheese. We got the sea bass and coho salmon which had entirely different flavors but were both delicious. The wines were also lovely. The staff seemed distracted and overwhelmed by the customer but were kind whenever they came to our table. I would have appreciated a bit more attentive service, however.

Worked there for less than a week and got fired because the other guy that was in washing dishes with me kept doing things to make me feel extremely uncomfortable so I tried to make a responsible decision and talk the the owner/manager (mel) and she decided to fire me basically insinuating that I was lying ( for what reason I'm not sure) but just left a bad taste in my mouth and kinda makes me wonder how many other people this has happened to here

Was really looking forward to checking this place out, my husband and I talked about it well before hand during planning as we are on our honeymoon. Our last night in Rockland we wanted to stop by for a quick cocktail before heading off to dinner somewhere as their website says “walk-in’s welcome”. Walked in, no signage saying anything, approached the empty bar asking if it was okay to take a seat and was met with the most un welcoming, un friendly and rude bartender who’s response was “can you check with the host please”, all without looking up at me. Now I have worked in hospitality for 15 years, self seating at the bar is the norm and I have absolutely no problem waiting to be seated there and checking with a host. But my god, the hostility was absolutely bizarre. Host was kind, told us we could sit for a drink, but I didn't feel welcome enough to do so. Every single person dining was probably 40 years older than us, can’t help but think that might have had something to do with it. Weird name for a place that was so off putting.

Me and my husband come here again and again, and every time it is beyond delicious.
The chef and owner is the most incredible woman, her hands are magic because watching her put together these thoughtful dishes- beautifully, while making it look easy and doing 1000 things at once. The food is incredible every time we come! We leave stuffed and happy. I had a pasta dish that brought near tears to my eyes.
The staff are attentive and you are always greeted with a smile and kindness. The ambiance and setting is tasteful and charming alike. I would recommend this to anyone in Maine or in the Rockland area! We drive 40 minutes each way just to come to have dinner here any time we are in Maine! We thoroughly enjoy our dates here!
