Our meal was 3/5 winners. The oysters were excellent and we got a second round, then the crab cake was delish as were the Brussels sprouts. The crab claws and the scallops were not good at all. The scallops were wayyy overcooked and the crab claws just didn’t taste fresh and the taste was off. Our wine and waitress were good and we’d totally go back.

so many restaurants in midcoast, and maine in general, serve oysters and promote their raw bars, but north beacon really revolves around it... and in my experience, it's the best one around (i live 15 mins away so have been to pretty much everywhere around). i highly recommend the oyster shooters. despite the obvious focus on seafood and the raw bar, it has a diverse menu that caters to those who aren't into seafood (whether fried, steamed, raw). the cocktails are very...

Oyster selection was wonderful but pricey. Dinner was good, wine selection on the pricey side loved the dessert. Restaurant was full and we had made a reservation... So reservation is recommended.
Walked past several times at lunchtime and it seemed busy then as well.
