Such an awesome coffee shop/cafe/bookshop. Always a favorite! Love me an old broken in local coffeehouse. The coffee is top notch and the staff is very friendly and helpful if you're looking for coffee drink ed.Do yourself a favor and stop in with a book or a phone. Grab a cup of coffee and hang out!

Two years ago this was the best coffee in the area. Unfortunately the last few times I’ve ordered coffee here, it has been an absolute disappointment. Today I ordered a 20oz pumpkin pie latte which was nearly $8. I was given a 12oz which was immediately replaced by the correct size. However the “fixed” coffee was just topped off with massive amounts of cream and coffee without any flavoring. Rather than waiting 20 more minutes for another overpriced, bland, luke-warm latte for $8, I opted to dump the coffee on the sidewalk where it belongs.

Staff is wonderful and food is delicious! I go there as much as I can. They had an amazing BLT with fried green tomatoes, candied bacon and feta cheese that was AMAZING! I hope they bring it back.

Delicious pastrami sandwich with cheese. A little on the smaller size compared to other places that I’ve eaten at that serve pastrami sandwiches. You order at the counter and they bring the sandwiches to you along with chips. Nice atmosphere.

Expensive. $8 for a cup of regular coffee? Really? Coffee was good but not great. I ordered and when I went to pay it was almost $8?? How can that be?

Last year we waited 20 minutes for an espresso drink here, which was OK when they finally got around to us. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt and 4 stars then. So this year, on a return visit to Rockland, we decided to try again. At 9:00 am the door, with its sign saying "open at 7:00), was locked! Inside there were just several people around one table. They never even looked up at us. Maybe a staff meeting, but there was no sign on the door explaining what was going on. So we went on up to Camden where we found an excellent coffee shop with management and staff who actually knew their business. I suggest that you jsut keep going past this place, too.

Been here before and loved it - counter help was amazing but the barista seems to have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed and had a very bad vibe. We weren’t the only people who experienced it.
