1st time visitor - been wanting to try for some time. I live about an hour from Rockland, so to visit, I need to know that the earlier you get there, the better. The last time I tried to visit, I saw the dreaded "SOLD OUT" sign on the door!This time, I planned a visit with my daughter, who likes doughnuts as much as I do. We arrived shortly after they opened, so there was plenty of selection available.We enjoyed a doughnut ? there and then took a half dozen home.I was pleased by the small, homey shop. The service was great. They had plenty of patience while we labored over what to get.Didn't find any doughnut that I didn't like, but I did have favorites! For me, simpler is better, so I preferred the lemon glazed one.
Great donuts, but to be Able to get what you want to need to order a couple of days before.

The absolute best of the best in our opinion and our go-to special treat whenever we can. The flavors are always unique and reflect Maines' seasonal offerings throughout the year from blueberries to cider, and I doubt you'll ever meet a bakery crew more passionate about their work than Team Ruckus!Parking: While street parking is often limited turn right at Ruckus and you'll find two free town parking lots.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and not typically a donut fan, but we stopped in during the Rockland Christmas parade and WOW… I had my husband go back and get a second one because I didn’t want to share! We tried the peppermint one and the eggnog one and the eggnog donut is hands down the best donut I’ve ever had. It has given me a new craving in the final stretch of this pregnancy and I’m already looking forward to going back again! Absolutely recommend them!

This place is by far the best donut place for miles! Definitely worth a trip! A lot of care goes into making them every day and it shows! Grab the Homer when you're here in the warmer months.
