We went here for my 50yh birthday recently. The food was good, the drinks, especially the espresso martini, we're excellent. Tables are quite small and they were short servers. The server we did have, 1 for all 13 of us, was very nice. I would try it again.

Rustica Cucina is an absolute gem. While it's not always open, a common theme in Maine, when it is we are sure to enjoy. The Bolognese is my fave but dont be afraid to get the Baked Penne or even the Alfredo, they do not disappoint. The prices are excellent for the quality so don't shy away. The restaurant is steps away from Harbor Park, so if you're in on a cruise, walking the boardwalk, or milling about Downton you're merely steps away. Enjoy!

This is a great restaurant. It is consistently good everytime I go. It is very reasonably priced, even the wine. Great service and atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it.
Very nice place. A good alternative to seafood. Dishes were flavorful and portions were nice. I would go back next time I'm in the area.

Wow! My husband booked a table for our birthday whilst we were staying in the area.
Great atmosphere although it was very busy. Service was good but the food ...the food was outstanding! I think the best pasta dish I have ever had. The depth of flavor, the quality, the portion size....amazing!
The tiramisu.....just make room that's all I'll say!
This is a must visit place just make sure you book a table!

Pizza looked amazing. However it was burnt on the bottom. Maybe this is cooking preference not sure. It was still good.
A lot to be desired for the service for the price you pay but the food is very good. Try the cavatelli but maybe to go.

Pretty decent food for a small town. We were hard pressed to find vegan food around these parts that stay open reasonably late. Super tired of Thai food so of course, options are limited. My husband normally avoids cheese but on these kinds of trips he compromises and eats it. He actually loved his pizza. The fried artichoke salad was pretty good and the pasta with chunky sauce was quite flavorful. It’s nice I could get it without cheese. Server was nice and efficient.

Best meal we had all week!!! I was surprised we didn’t need a reservation to eat here. Our meals were amazing! We started with the Beet Napoleon. It consisted of slices of beets with layers of goat cheese topped with sweet balsamic onions and arugula. It was then cut into 4 pieces so it wouldn’t be messed up at the table. It was DELISH!!! I had the haddock special that consisted of a pan cooked piece of haddock over a bed of corn and zucchini chowder and crisp smashed potatoes and a garnish of arugula. The fish was cooked perfectly and the chowder had such flavor. I could have eaten a bowl of it! My wife had the chicken risotto which consisted of grilled chicken breast over a delicious bed of risotto topped with small tomatoes and a delicious sauce! Everything was amazing. Our server was excellent and was very attentive to my wife’s gluten allergy. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I know we will definitely be returning next time we are in Rockland! Keep up the great work!!

Small busy Italian restaurant with bar seating for 8 reservations recommended for dinner. Meals were plentiful good selections, homemade pasta and fresh seafood d amongst them.We went with 2 traditional dishes , chicken Parma , and Saltabuca dish. Plenty of meat and housemade pasta excellent. Cannolis we’re good we could’ve have shared it 2 provided,BUT glad I had the tiramisu , my go to Italian dessert and this may have been my best ever! Very reasonable prices, plentiful servings and wait staff very attentive .
