The Run of the Mill Public House & Brewery

The haddock sandwich consisted of a large piece of fish with lettuce and cheese served on a massive bulky roll, with fries on the side. I ordered Cole slaw as a side and it was really good. My fish was over fried, as if someone forgot it was in the fryolater. The French fries were decent, crispy outside tender inside. The service was not great. I had to wait and wait to get a refill on my drink. I had to another server to send our waitress over. I could see her doing other tasks after she was asked to stop by our table. It was like she didnt care that her tip was dependent on her job performance. I tipped 20 % anyway because I was a server, albeit a much better one, back in the day. Not returning.

I don't know why I keep going here. The service isn't great sometimes bad and the food is never good and it's all overpriced.

The inside of this place is so cozy. Housed in a former mill. We enjoyed our beers and wine. Our friend’s mule was served in a pint glass?? Completely bizarre but tasted alright. Service was okay. Did not eat. Overall cool spot.

They had games for you to play while you were waiting. The place is huge and was really cool inside! We went back 2 nights in a row because the fries were soooo good!!!!! 🥰

The food was very good, a nice array of tavern food-type items(beer and beer cheeses and fried foods and such). The customer service was incredible, true impressive. Our hostess was notably gregarious and kept us well-updated on tables, and our server Christopher was one of the best waiters I've ever seen. He was joking with all of his tables at once and provided rapid and attentive service, ranging from finding a sweetening agent for our mixed drink(lemonade!) to good wine recommendations to helping a nearby customer get a meal ticket in minutes before the kitchen closes. Truly a master class in helping the customer, a delightful evening.

A friendly place with a great location. Mostly locals not tourists (I am a tourist.)

And it does have a really fabulous lobster roll
and a truly incredible collection of beer.

Seems like most of the people coming here aren’t here for the lobster rolls, but we were

wonderful seating outdoor outdoor under tent and a really fun feeling inside

The food was very reasonably priced and delicious but to call themselves a brewery is no longer valid very limited selection of beers and not even trying to fulfill their namesake the meatloaf was quite unusual packed with enough cheese to make it rather gummy and not meat like but the drunken pot roast was amazing
