Our family of six went last week. It was busy but not full. We waited 20 minutes to be seated (many tables open) waitstaff were moving but not summertime busy. We ordered all simple meals (a wrap, chicken wings, chicken tenders, burger, steak and a burger and soup and a few apps) nothing special order. Our apps came out pretty quickly, drinks followed and then we waited, and waited, and waited almost an hour for our entrees from the time we received our apps. Waitstaff was fairly annoyed with someone not sure if it was the manager or kitchen team. Meals finally arrived one by one. I waited for my steak for 15 minutes after the 1st meal was delivered. The manager came and said sorry for the delay, you know this happens. I finally received my steak and it was white (his response was that's the steak we serve). Now for the rest of the meals - wrap was fine, wings were fine, tenders were cold with uncooked broccoli, burger was overcooked and cold, tomato soup and burger were cold and hard. Manager was rude to us and really wanted nothing to do with making us happy. I left a note on the check to have someone call me to discuss the lack of edible food and managers attitude but never received a call. We did receive some compensation but still way over paid for the food we did not eat or that was not edible. I went hungry and left hangry. Never a good combination.

So, for the most part, everything was excellent...except for my friends steak. She complained initially of it being under cooked. The staff you awesome and very nice about sending it back. Once she get it back though, it was rubbery and chewy. But everything else including the staff, the other food we ordered, timely manner of the food and drinks, etc was awesome. I would recommend Applebee's in Sanford ME!

I ordered the fish & chips. Fish was awesome! I replaced my fries with the garlicky green beans. What a disappointment! Nothing worse than soggy, mushy, tasteless green beans! Yuck! You really need to pay more attention to cooking veggies correctly! Tender crisp is much more appealing than mushy! Oh….don’t forget the garlic next time.

Was just there today 12/5/25 sat 40 mins. Till got food on a 1 hrs. Lunch. Didn't have time to eat. Won't return. And we are regulars in there .

We are parents of 4 kids, 3 boys n 1 girl. My oldest is 21, then 18, 16. Daughter is 5….I mention this cuz all those years of going out to eat with the kids….never have we had such a friendly hostess. We walked in n she was right there….”hello” So sweet to my girl…walking over to the table, she was being silly with daughter…stop stop go go game While we walked through. She has a beautiful smile that is contagious 😊 Then the waitress comes over n was so nice too. The food is always delicious, fair priced n good sized meals. Inside it was clean and full of laughter It was warm enough to take coats off n eat. (Some places are not) Used the restroom that was very clean too. We was there for about 1 n half hours at 2pm

We have been here before and it was always good inside, but today we ordered carside and it was not a good experience. We parked outside and waited then ultimately had to go into the store to retrieve our food. Upon opening our food there was no side of Buffalo sauce for the wings as we ordered. Additionally I ordered the macaroni and cheese with tenders and there was no cheese in the macaroni, just bland pasta with no cheese and chicken tenders. Really bummed because we usually love Applebees but this time was not good :(
I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but since we did not even receive the most basic service I decided to. When we arrived we had to wait at the door as there was no host/howtess around and there were no lines and plenty of empty tables. Once seated no one ever acknowledged us. I made eye contact with several waitresses walking around, not one of them said hello, someone will be right with you so eventually we left without ever ordering. I will not waste my time returning.

Fantastic experience from the moment we walked through the door. Outstanding and friendly service, clean and inviting, and the food was delicious and prepared perfectly even with modifications. Lovely, lovely experience. Tari was the best server I’ve had in a very long time.
