Our server Emily was an absolute blast 😄 She was fun, sarcastic (just the way we like it 😉) and made us feel like we were regulars from the moment we sat down. It’s one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming 🩷 We live a little over an hour away, but this spot is absolutely worth the drive. “Very unimpressed by a pizza that I was excited to try based on reviews. the "Venus Fly Trap" pie was a huge letdown...cheap tasting pepperoni, flavorless ricotta, and bland "hot" honey. My roommate tried a slice and was equally disappointed. Not sure I will try again.”

“I had a great breakfast with eggs Benedict with corned beef hash on them. There was a side of grilled potatoes 🥔 and a chocolate cocunut milkshake. This was so good I been craving it ever since.
To top it off the inside of the restaurant is full of Sanford, Maine fire department 🚒 history.”

“Very comfortable atmosphere. As an introvert waiting for over an hour the rest of my party to arrive, the bartenders made me feel welcome and offered samples to try to make sure I found something I liked. Clean, comfortable, and delicious (my friends really enjoyed their drinks too)! I will definitely be back.”

“We’ve gone here twice now. Both times we got the lobster roll with chowder. First time the chowder was perfect! Plenty of potatoes & clams. Second time, not so great. It was basically just the creamy broth without almost ANY potatoes or clams at all, that was a bummer. The lobster was perfect the first time, perfect amount of butter & was very tasty (you can also get it cold with mayo). The second time it lacked butter & was on the dryer side. I guess it’s a hit or miss? Hey, we all have bad days. We will definitely try it again. We hope the next time we go it is better than the last time, just hoping it was an off day. They are always packed! Most of time we see the line is out the door, it does move fairly quickly though. That was nice. The ice cream & the portions were wonderful. We were not impressed with the shakes. We ordered two “very thick three scoop”shakes but the size seemed more like a maybe a medium sized drink I’d say, & it wasn’t at all thick, not at all. It was disappointing, we won’t be getting those again. But definitely will get their ice cream! Would love to grab one of their ice cream pies next time, when we were in line an older couple said they were delicious. Oh, I almost forgot! The chili cheese fries (with melted cheese) were amazing! The chili is pretty much perfect, I will be trying the chili dog at some point. I’ll update on our return, hopefully earning that fifth star for the food ;)
All & all it is an affordable place with plenty of options & you should give it a try. You’ll never find a better deal for a lobster roll with chowder or fries or both!”

Hubby got a blueberry pomegranate smoothie, and I got a green tea lemonade. Personally, I prefer less sweet, so next time I'll try a green tea iced tea. Our server was very friendly. It was only a bit slow because it was a popular place.”

“the cook tries to involve all his customers with a little conversation while depending on the night the bartenders may or may not be friendly.. hit or miss for that. Atmosphere is usually the same most nights with it being a little more busy on Thursdays and fridays but with the same crowd. Alot of good people go and I would recommend popping in for cheap drinks with a member and see how the live music is. Great musicians vibe out on stage. Great local spot. A great back up plan for a night out IMO”

“Coming here is a highlight to my summer!! The employees are always the sweetest and easiest to talk to! Compared to others restaurants, the bbq joint is the cleanest joint around. Overall, I would say that this place has improved in taste, cleanliness, and service from the past few years!”

It's a building 🛖 located on the forked split of the parking lot for an old folks home 👵👴🏘 and a police 🚓 🚨 station.

I drove around 🚗 the lots trying to figure out where I'm supposed to park for 10min of takeaway food. 🤷

You enter from the side of the building into a dark 🕶 area of industrial feel (the counter, coffee center etc) with dim lighting.
The only happy bright 🌞 😎 place is the front of the building where it's all windows

Toast & home fries.
Quickly served with artist flair on the omelette.

“Everything's great!! Please bring back the lobster stew. I'm glad you brought back the stew. Just too much butter. Not enough milk or cream Had the lobster stew this week and it was excellent. Dont change a thing. Hadn't dined for 2 months now and 9/18/26 went back for more lobster stew and now it's back to too much butter and thick and spicy. It's the easiest thing to make. Just saute the lobster in butter then add milk. Is it really that hard? What i had was more like a bisk.
