“Super friendly staff, lots of great options and they even recommended a fantastic salad spot across the street which was outstanding. A couple of the items I got had coupons I didn’t notice and the staff was quick to apply them to my order.”
“When I walked into this little building next to the owner's home, I didn't expect much. I was surprised by the welcoming decor and bakery case. I also found home canned jams and other little items for gifts. They also sold fresh produce from their farm. Very friendly!”
“This place is the bomb. We've started going every Sunday, everything is always delicious, ingredients are made in-house and so fresh. The breakfast burrito is unlike anything we've had before. It's to die for. You won't find a fresher breakfast sandwich bun. The staff has always been very kind and nice. It's worth every penny, every time.(Excuse the half eaten food, was too excited)”
“My first time in and I can guarantee I will be back. By far the best chicken tenders I have ever had! The staff was super friendly and great atmosphere overall. They even have a drive thru for Togo orders!”
“This small place is an absolute gem! Love the jerk chicken so much I buy a bottle of sauce to take home with me every time. Best thing to warm you up in the winter, or sit outside with in the summer.”
“This is a great little breakfast spot, especially if you have a larger family like ours! The food was incredible, the service impeccable and all at an affordable price, which is VERY rare nowadays ??”
“Went on a Sunday morning. Place was very busy! Line moved fast and employees were very nice. Very cute place. Got a hot chocolate, 8 mini donuts and a bacon breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Bagel was amazing! Hot chocolate very rich and delicious as well. Donuts are a hit with the whole family. Great place!”
“Only seating for 14 inside, when outside dining is open that will be a big help, fantastic food!!! Very friendly, limited beer and wine only and some special non alcoholic Thai drinks. PHO was fantastic!Parking: Easy in and out, has handicap ramp”
“We go to the Bistro often. The food is good and service is nice. I like the decor of the place. Had my dad's celebration of life there and they were very nice and accommodating.”
“I go to the Lords clam box when I would like seafood. The serving size is good. The food is good and i like the dining room. In the summer I enjoy being able to sit outside”
“Wife and I stopped in for lunch. First time ever going. Really ready good. Prices are pretty good for the size of food you get. Definitely worth a stop if you wanna try something new.”
“I've been going here for 10+ years and the food has always been consistent. Everyone has always been consistent and friendly. It's rare you get dedication, engagement and delicious food in an establishment. Always thankful for small businesses that go the extra mile!”
“I personally love the icecream and the food is good too. Where else can you still buy lunch for $5.99 and a lobsterroll fir $9.99. The service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean and kid friendly.”
“Amazing small diner with perfect vibes and some of the highest quality (and affordable) breakfast in the area. They do lunch as well, which is equally amazing. Ps, the Irish Benedict is to die for!!”
“You want ice cream? This IS the holy grail of ice cream shops. Worth every penny you'd spend ANYWHERE else including "Fielders Choice". Took me 2 days to eat their traditional banana split. Great people, great area, great ice cream. Every flavor you'd ever want with every topping you enjoy.”
“Went on Monday and it was such a cute little place! The waitress was so nice and there was hardly any wait at all other than trying to decide what to have! So many things sounded delicious. I had eggs benedict and I was not disappointed! The pancakes are huge as well and they put so many blueberries. I would highly recommend going to check it out.”
“I get a pizza every single week! Bacon with extra cheese. Never fails to satisfy me. This is an old school pizza joint still doing old school transactions (CASH ONLY) . Every week I walk in there they say “bacon and extra cheese?” I say “yes!” And they say “that’ll be 10 dollars!” . I love this place. I’m gonna be very sad if this place ever shuts down.”
“This pizza is phenomenal!! It’s our favorite place since moving to the area. It’s not a sit in place, just takeout. The building appears a bit rough but don’t let that deter you, the pizza is delicious. I highly recommend the white pizza if you’re a cheese lover.”
“5 stars. My go to now for chicken sandwiches. They make any burger on the menu as a grilled or fried chicken.I recommend the smokehouse burger but with fried chicken it's got bbq, bacon and onion rings!”
“River Junction is what the City of Sanford needs. River Junction provides a great place for craft brews and provides a great ambiance to drink with friends and family. The staff provide friendly service which makes this place extra great. Would recommend!”
“They're only open seasonally, which is to be expected, but it seems like they have some events there that are open to the public during the summer and fall. They also have some rescue animals that are nice to visit. My favorite part was the ice cream, of course, which they source from a few local creameries. I was able to get a "flight", or sampler, with four different kinds of ice cream the same size and price as a regular large ice cream! I tried the pumpkin, peppermint patty, white pistachio, and something else oddly named. Reasonable prices for a boutique operation in the middle of nowhere!”
“This place is great! The pizza is fat and cheesy! I recommend the the cheeseburger Stromboli and the cheeseburger sub! Fries are crispy and staff is always wonderful!”
“Their house-made bread is fantastic and worth the visit alone. The sandwiches can get a bit out of control messy sometimes, but I appreciate the willingness to pile on toppings.”
“Went for the first time, got 2 drinks and the pretzels and beer cheese. Everything was good but what stood out the most was how friendly everyone working was. From the food runners to the bartenders and servers, they were all kind to everyone and each other. To me, that speaks volumes about a business and how it's run. Great experience, will definitely return!”
“The girl at the window was very patient with is as we were placing our order. We did not wait long at all for our order to be ready. We love aroma joes and get it once a year when we visit Maine!”
“What a great place to be. Beautiful view and great setup in their backyard. Owner and cat cannot be any friendlier the brewery is not to be missed. Visit here every year.”
“I hadn't been to Dairy Queen in some time but my daughter was craving it and I'm so glad we went. The people were super friendly and quick. The blizzards were so good. perfectly mixed and even tho it was a cold night and the workers must have been freezing, they still served us with a smile and ”
“This was my first time visiting XOTA. So, not knowing what to choose to drink at first. I eventually picked EZ3 an American wheat style beer. I was expecting stronger notes of lemon, but to me, i just couldn't smell the lemon. Overall, it was a good tasting beer.”
“My favorite place to get together with friends to relax and have a cold beer.Gary, the owner, is a national treasure. Thankful when I have the opportunity to spend time with him.”
“Our first introduction to Maine was at this unique roadside eat in or take out stand. The food was cooked to order by our host, and it was delicious! Nothing fancy here just good vibes, hard chairs, friendly folks and great home cooking. I had some haddock, cooked to order because of my wheat allergy and my husband had "911 pork tenderloin sandwich with Mayo horseradish sauce and provolone cheese. Yums all around!”
