We found ourselves with a few kid free hours on this Valentines day so we headed here for dinner. The staff was friendly, the owner was seen helping in every area with a smile and a greeting for all customer. We had the bruschetta appetizer and haddock sandwiches. This fish was so delicious and the sweet potato chips were perfect!

Great staff, a beer for every taste, the food was solid and portions were ample! I would highly recommend this fine establishment!

Party of 5. Very disappointed with the food. Not sure if they are just using super old oil or just can't cook. Everything was so dark and overdone. Anjue for steak was just dark water. This place used to be good. so dissapointed The service was very good. I actually feel bad for the waite staff. Regardless how well they do their job the kitchen ruins the meal!

Good food, unfortunately the folks I was with sat at bar. Had to listen to prattle from day drunks. Found bartender rude, will sit in dining area next time.

Well, had a disappointing visit for the first time. I haven't been here in a while but live locally and enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Today got the steak (it said rib eye) that I always get. It was ten bucks higher than the last time. Cut too thick, and tough as shoe leather. It did not appear to be rib eye but something cheaper. The waitress saw most of it on my plate but seemed to be uninterested in why. Anyway the food is good here. Love the hand cut fries. Cheeseburger is juicy. Just disappointed that the quality of the steak has gone south.

Waitress was awesome. Food a bit pricey for what you get.

Very solid pub. The menu proudly states all items are made in house and I can speak well of the food we had. Great beer selection...on tap!

Stopped in for lunch. The restaurant did not appear to be busy. We waited to be seated but sadly that did not happen. Made eye contact with the waitress who did not acknowledge us until she was ready. She walked past us 3 times which at that point we decided to just walk out. We took our business to Guerrero Maya located in Sanford. I’m glad we did - it was amazing! So thank you to the waitress at Publick House - we have now found a new favorite restaurant!

Sat at the bar...I believe Mark was the tender. Very knowledgeable and personable. We had drinks and food. My wife had the turkey panini, which she liked very much. I had two of the specials... Haddock bites and egg rolls... Both very good but too much for one sitting, so took the rest home

Good local food - roast beef panini was good (a little fatty). We had a 15 minute wait for three people on a Tuesday at 1pm (no problem to wait) but then when walked to the table there 5 empty. Could be a staffing issue but not a good look.

Great food and value for quality. Extremely good bartender. She makes fantastic Long Island Ice Teas the old-fashioned way.

These folks go above and beyond with service and quality! My family orders takeout 1-2x weekly from here because it’s delicious and the portions do NOT disappoint. Trust a half order of most things is big enough for a filling meal especially the haddock! Huge and out of this world quality. Ladies in the front do a stupendous job and we’re always sure to tip them because they do so much for us. Recommend definitely all around.

All the sauces where spicy. Was not expecting the thousand island sauce for my salad to be spicy.
