Called in to see if they serve breakfast while others in my party wanted to go to nearby Berryful. I like Subway breakfast sandwiches in NYC, but these folks saw my NYC number on their caller ID and thought, why is an NY number calling us in Maine? So they didn’t pick up. PS it’s called vacationland. Expect people to call from out of state cell phones.

Service was bad, the bread was stale and hard , they didn't heat the bacon for a BLT or the steak for a steak sandwich. The store was not as clean as it should be. And on a Friday at dinner time only one worker that you could hardly hear. It was for take out.

I ordered a steak and cheese large. It tasted good however the meat was only about 25% of what it normally is elsewhere. Where's the beef??? They will fail.

Dude was complaining his neck hurt so he wouldn't make sandwiches so the worker made the door-dasher late then all the sandwich were wrong none of the bread was right on 4 sandwiches mine had onions I'm elergic to onions and this is not ok … unprofessional… 03/19/25 10:51 …

New owners are skimping on ingredients. My sandwich was practically empty, both ends of a half sub empty, cheddar cheese was about a teaspoon. Four slivers of onion, i had to ask for more. 3 yellow tomatoes. Bought a footlong too, it was also skimped of meat and cheese. It was supposed to have 8 slices of two meats and only had 6, their was only four of the other meat and three triangles if cheese! It says 2x cheese right on the menu!!This was the last time I go there!!

Disappointed - placed a large order - gave them 2 hours to make it still not ready and they were ALL incorrect.
2/12/25 first time eating here after new owners. I honestly never write reviews for any fast food places but this is by far the worst sub I have eaten. The veggies where not fresh at all my bread was hard. I even got sick in the bathroom for 2 hours after eating here… i do not suggest anyone to eat here until they learn food safety here.

2/2/25 me and my wife went to the south Sanford branch, she ordered the blt and I ordered the chicken bacon ranch from the menu. The first thing i noticed was the lettuce was not looking good at all, I mean more then half of the bin was yellow and brown, so I brought it to the gentleman that was serving us and told him that lettuce doesn't look good. He looked and said yeah you want lettuce? I said no the lettuce does not look good it should be changed, he looked back at the lettuce and said yes and shook his head yes. He continued to make the first part of our sandwiches and put them in the toaster. By that time 3 more customers arrived and he started to take the next person's order. Once our sandwiches were ready for vegetables he went toward to ask us what we wanted on them still with out changing the bad lettuce out, my wife then said something about it and he did the same thing with her...yes you want lettuce? He said. he seemed to be acting like there was some sort of language barrier because he kept ignoring the fact on what the lettuce looked like and acting like we we're saying something else. Then my wife said no that lettuce looks rotted. Please change it because I would like fresh lettuce on my sandwich thank you. He looked at her and rolled his eyes like it was a huge issue. So I'm extremely upset about how we we're treated when we asked for something simple and he up right refused to change the lettuce. Also a couple more things that I wasn't happy about was the fact that the chicken bacon ranch has chicken stripes not growned chicken. You used to be able to see the lunch meat from the cooler and now they hide it behind a metal cover so you have no idea what you are ordering any more. I used to love going to subway, but now I think that will be my last visit. I mean if the lettuce looked that bad and it was right in front of you with someone that was refusing to change it, then what am I getting that is conveniently hidden from my eyes. Face it subway here is not subway anymore, I'm sorry

Worst sandwiches I’ve ever had. Where to start?-
Ordered online: Cold meat, not toasted like it was supposed to. Missing items on sandwiches, somehow no sauces on not one, but TWO sandwiches. Just plain, cold chicken.
Also did not get jalepenos or sub krunch.
Overall just awful and damn near inedible.

I see people are having problems with rude workers at this location...must be a company thing to hire rude workers, because the workers at the Wells location are over the top rude.
