Have been a happy customer of Ken’s place for over 55 years. The employees, ever so busy they always great you with a smile and ask how they can help you.The servings are displayed perfectly. The seafoods are absolutely delicious. My favorite are a pint of fried clams .1/2 in crumbs and 1/2 in batter. We try to make it there every week or so. We bring anyone that is from out of town there to enjoy the best of Maine. You realize most of these dedicated owners and employees work 12hour days 7 days a week. So even though it’s never asked for a tip when ordering is a way to thank them in advance. See ya Friday.
Visité plusieurs fois et toujours aussi bon 😋
clam chowder is bland and overloaded with potatoes very few clams
Disappointed with the fish chowder it was all potatoes
We were so disappointed. my fried clams were undercooked when I could actually find one in the massive amount of batter which was also undercooked and to top it off....tasteless. So we tried the chowder, completely tasteless. onion rings...? probably the only edible thing. This is not what I remembered but it's been years since I have been there. The service was awesome, very polite and helpful.
🤓The only item I found very disappointing were the clam cakes. They were over cooked and really thin making them tough. No taste at all
I ordered a seafood plate that had shrimp, haddock, scollops, and lobster claws. When I got my dish I was very surprised and disappointed because the dish consisted of two shrimp, two scollops, two lobster claws and a small piece of haddock. This dish was not seasoned and was bland. This dish is way over priced and not worth the price I paid for it. I was so let down when I got this meal.

I went for a lobster on fried clams. The lobster roll was not very good. There wasn't much to it for the price and it tasted blah. And the fried clams while they give you a lot of them they were cold

Short review: We ate here twice over 2 consecutive evenings. Homemade tartar sauce is best ever. Monsterous scallops. Crumb breading on clams & other stuff, outstanding!
We found this place kind of by accident when other similar place we already knew about was closed for season. Glad we found Ken’s!
Order at window, wait very short amount of time, pick up food, enjoy!
Update Fall 2024: Still rockstar good food with friendly staff. Must-visit place for us each time in the area!

Great spot! The owners are incredibly nice and you can tell they truly love their business. The place is very clean. The truck is parked inside the garage out of the elements and even the tires are showroom clean. The menu is very simple. There is not a thing I wouldn't eat here as each entree is a perfect rendition of what it is. My very favorite is the croquettes and gravy when they have it as a special. They hit so hard they slap me back to 1975! If you're near and it's Wednesday or later, turn in. Even if you are not hungry you will be in the brief time it takes to prepare your order. Just great!
