Great Maine chocolates. We bought already cutely wrapped chocolate gift items with some inspired ideas: chocolate covered devil dogs and twinkies will be in the stocking this year. Also don't forget the Maine needhams which they do in mills and dark. Yum. I recommend the milk

Lenny was mentioned in Atlas Obscura. We stopped in to take a picture of Lenny and use the restroom. Ended up buying $83 of chocolate. Excellent chocolate but be aware. You stop just for a picture it could end up being a costly photo 😅🤣😂

I absolutely love this shop! I was visiting Maine and stopped in to get some taffy for family back home. When I got there, I couldn’t find taffy anywhere, so I asked the sweet younger girl (brown long hair, she was making candy in the show room) where they were. She told me they had sold out, and they had some in the back that was made that morning. I have never had taffy made that day, let me tell you it was the softest and most delicious thing I’ve ever experienced. The older woman who rung me up was excellent too, incredibly sweet and very attentive. You can tell the employees are happy and love what they do. Their taffy is so good I had to order more to be shipped home to me for holiday gifts. They packaged my goodies well, everything made it safe and in only 3 days. An absolute must when visiting the area!

Great place for real homemade chocolate. I visited this store when I was a child over 70 years ago and the chocolate is still just as wonderful. Please take the time to visit this business for some great chocolate and wonderful service.

This was a fun pit stop on our recent roadtrip. The chocolates and caramels were tasty. They gave out teeny tiny samples. We thought the prices were really high, but it is a tourist destination, so they are obviously doing okay. I made a small box of assorted chocolates so I could try a few things, they were all really good. The chocolate covered raspberry jelly was probably my favorite.

Parking: It you have a trailer or camper, you will want to park in the church parking lot next door and walk over. The parking lot is quite sloped and small.
