Authentic Vietnamese cuisine near Portland! We're just visiting for the week and was craving something Asian so stopped by for takeout. For dinner, they ran out of bread for sandwiches so we ordered the following (took 20 minutes since spring rolls made to order): 1) Crispy Spring Rolls (2) for appetizer - did not come with lettuce and they didn't use the typical wrapper but filling and dipping sauce were authentic 2) Grilled Beef Rice Noodles - delicious and authentic. Good size portion. One of my fave Summer meals. 3) Pho House - large size takeaway included a quart of soup, with noodles, meat, veggies and sauce separate. Delicious broth and everything was fresh. Hit the spot. Would def recommend and would return when in the area again.

In a word - FANTASTIC!Had pho ti, spring rolls, summer rolls, wings. Been there twice and absolutely fantastic both times. Go!

We got 3 delicious dishes. The pho of course but the drunken noodles was over the top good and the Vietnamese sandwiches were fresh.

Hours on web site are not updated - my order was cancelled due to you being closed when your web site said your open. So sad, you used to be so good.

They have a takeout menu but the hours are wrong. 5 hours and several dozen phone calls got me a voicemail that said the box was full saying to call back later. I got someone finally and his English was poor and he did not know how to run a credit card so I had to trust that the stranger was going to keep my valuable credit card information private. Who knows if that will happen. They had numerous orders and did not put our names on the orders. They just put them in bags unlabeled. They swear that they got my order correct that somebody else messed it up. (Right!!) If you can't take an order, you don't have a phone that works, you can't print out a menu with the right times, and you can't get an order right, why on Earth would someone ever want it order from you? I will be telling everyone I know!

And they wonder why some small businesses are not doing well. This is not the pandemic--it is basic business principles.

I had the spring rolls and veggie pho and both were really fresh and delicious. The woman who took my order confirmed both are vegan and I saw her make note of that on my order too. They were very busy with mostly take-out orders on a Friday night, but were still clearly taking COVID precautions (sanitizer, clean pens at the register, 6 foot markings in the floor). Thank you for choosing Scarborough because it's so wonderful to have great food options close to home :)

First off- I have a peanut allergy and the woman who answered the phone let me know they'd take all precautions. That's always reassuring. Second. I lived in Houston for over 45 years, and I ate a lot of Vietnamese food. Houston has a large Vietnamese population, so there are a ton of great Vietnamese restaurants, and I ate at many of them. I moved to Saco last July and hadn't had any Vietnamese since being here. That slump ended tonight. Pho Hong impressed!!!! I'm SO GLAD we gave them a shot tonight! I'll be back again soon!I had a the grilled pork rice plate- awesome. The pork banh mi was, frankly, way better than I expected! My wife was very impressed by the crispy egg rolls and fried rice.

I have great steak pho twice a week at Pho Huong in Portland near Monument square, then I tried this place and it was very bland and did not like it all all. And for 12 bucks I wasn’t happy about the cost. Do not recommend. My wife liked the chicken friend rice though

Delicious, flavorful, authentic Considerate of different requests and modifications to the order, and great service overall

Stopped in real quick with car sickness from a long drive. I went inside to order a large House Pho, and waited less than 3 minutes for it! What I appreciated the most was how they packaged it: broth in one container, toppings in another. A large takeout pho is enough for two bowls worth I would say. The broth was hot enough even after another 20 minute drive back home, which perfectly cooked the flanked meat and other toppings. It cost $13.45. Great deal and will be back again!
