Strong drinks, cool interior. Don't recommend the pretzels appetizer, cheese sauce was not great for the $3 upcharge and pretzels can be bought in the freezer section 😉 lobster & shrimp linguine was PHENOMENAL so that turned it around. Staff was slow, sat for 15 minutes before being able to order drinks, and apparently couldn't split the bill...
Bartender that was just on within the hour in Scarborough, today Tuesday, May 19, was rude not to welcome me as I approached the bar, he had a couple at the bar and that's it, was too busy chatting it up with a coworker and hence I waited until he was finished and then got up and told him next time welcome me. Was in the area and stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was great, the hazelnut porter was great but my entree not so much. I ordered the mushroom sacchetti and the sauce was full of long strips of onion. They seemed very out of place like they didn't belong in the recipe. They weren't fully cooked, it was all you could smell and all you could taste. It totally overpowered the mushroom and sacchetti. I kind of wondered if the chef was new and accidentally added them....
