Prepare for a long wait and barely mediocre food

Megan Rogers

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Went for a family dinner for a 40th birthday with kids and adults. Waited patiently for well over an hour and a half. When food finally arrived it was ice cold. While talking to the manager about it, the owner came over and began yelling at us. Screamed obscenities in my father’s face while telling him to sit the F down or he’ll call the cops. Then began screaming in my husband’s face that he was going to fight him outside. All while the manager was pulling on his arm and trying to get this “Rocco” to back off. We paid our bill and left completely in shock! All this in front of kids because we had the nerve to point out that our food arrived cold. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life and would tell anyone to never go to that restaurant!!!

We went here for supper they have only a few GF options which get cross contamination in the kitchen so not really safe for anyone with allergies my man’s burger and roll was burnt the fries had steak seasoning on them also the price for two meals was $75 dollars could go to longhorn or Texas Roadhouse at those prices also $15 for a margarita Never again!

They treat you like family they go above and beyond Food is amazing I've seen it first hand behind the scenes and let me say everything is fresh if you haven't been to SKK you really need to try it out for yourself

It was a great local place, but the food has taken a nose dive as of lately. Brussel sprouts are always great though

Stopped in here on the way through Sebago! Staff was great as well as the food and drinks! The hospitality was also top notch! We sat at the outside Tiki Bar and met some locals! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area

Was excited to give this place a try, but left underwhelmed. Really the only legitimate dining out option within 7-8 miles if you are staying in the immediate vicinity. Rustic, camp-like atmosphere and environment. Had a very long wait as outdoor seating was not an option because of rainstorms - completely understandable. Limited interior seating options for groups larger than 2-3. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Way overpriced for the food we received. The most disappointing was the loaded fries appetizer. Advertised as a "heaping" plate of fries, it more resembled a single serving of fries at many restaurants - and for $19! Seems like they are taking advantage with prices given their local monopoly. Tried the Mast Landing Sour beer - it was super. Not likely to return for in-person dining - maybe a pizza for takeout.

We absolutely loved our food at this restaurant! Would highly recommend! We are visiting from Chicago and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. A must go to if you are in the Sebago Lake region.

Great place for hard drinkers. Food is truly disgusting. Greasy. Yuk. Avoid.

Just went for drinks. Beverages are very reasonably priced. Food prices look extremely high.

Their bbq is soooo good. All the meats are delicious, the sides- including corn bread and the hot baked beans are recommended. Atmosphere/vibe is also great. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating (dog friendly) and an additional outdoor bar. While waiting to be seated, you can go to the indoor or outdoor bar to grab a beverage. Great establishment, I only wish there were more restaurants like this in the area!

Was disappointed it was not actually ON the lake. I thought it was. We sat at a high top and that wasn't the best in terms of comfort. They did not have to ability to make a Mosco Mule which is pretty basic, and the beer selection wasn't great considering the staggering amount of craft breweries locally. The ribs and chicken wings did not 'wow' me. I will say the ribs were tender and fell off the bone, but we're also slightly dried out. The sauces were good but why they felt the need to charge me $.75 extra to try their habanero is beyond me. Seems pretty steep and the waitress did not mention I would be charged. The wings were decent but rather small. The Mac and Cheese was underwhelming, but the Brussels sprouts were good. In general I would say it was ok but I don't need to go back there. It thought it was priced too high for the quality.
