I tried Gifford's, bought in quarts, from Market Basket grocery store. Chocolate, flavor was good but the ice cream was very dark in color and texture was icy. I would not recommend it. Also tried Peanut Butter Brownie. The ice cream texture was good, the flavor was also good, but the brownie chunks were just chewy flavorless balls. The ice cream would have been better without them. This was my first time trying this brand. I wanted to like it because it's a small local company, but I probably would not buy it again. :>(

GPS will drop you off at the front door on Hathaway St & Cariani St isn't a drive through street like Google earth indicates. Giffords building goes straight across, so you MUST enter from 201 like the image below. Its actually a pretty big open lot behind the community food bank to turn around. Then back up the incline to the shipping/receiving doors.

Don’t be fooled this is NOT Natural premium ice cream. Corn syrup and artificial flavors maybe the locals are happy with it but that figures.

Nice little place. Got a full trailer unloaded within 40 min. Good friendly people working there. You can find some parking if you cane night before. Easy in and out.

Visiting the area and we found this by a Tripadvisor search. Was not disappointing and clearly a local favorite based on the amount of customers. Very generous portions and good ice cream. Young lady that served us very polite.
