“One of my favorite breakfast spots! The fruity pebble French toast literally is MIND BLOWING & very crave-worthy. Such an amazing crunch & flavor loaded - it's my go to recommendation for anyone going to Fat Dog. Amazing service - relocating to a larger space. A well-earned locals favorite. It's a must!“
“I can't express enough how much I love getting breakfast here. I'm sad every time I want to go realize that "it's too late in the day and Maggie's is closed now." ? The breakfast cheddar sandwich is my fave. But my family and friends have all really enjoyed the other menu items. There are flavored hot and iced coffee as well as red bulls. (Sugar-free available as well!)“
“Hands down the best place in this area!! Food is ways fresh and hot! Service is the outstanding and they ALWAYS have a smile on their face regardless of how busy it is!To the guy (Derek) who commented he was not on the waitlist and veterans were not welcome is 100% wrong. I was at this restaurant sitting at the bar when this incident happened. There was a wait as half of the city had no power due to a storm. The gentleman walked in and sat down when there were at least 15 people sitting in the lobby. The waitress came over to get peoples names and the guy (Derek) Was sitting down by other guests who had already Had their name on the list. The waitress did not see him and he began to throw a tantrum like a two-year-old child. She apologized and said she would get him on the list and he stormed out swearing profanities children! He was so rude and the staff handled it way better than I ever would have. Common sense if you see a line of people, you ask if there is a waitlist you don’t act like a two year old!Again, best employees, best food and I would 100% recommend this place to everyone! ?“
“Unassuming on the exterior, the Hen House theme inside is cute and old school 100%. I had the chicken club (I know sounds like a bad pun but true) with hand cut fries and it was fabulous. The service is also super friendly. I loved this spot. I wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often. A neat littel place with a yesteryear vibe in the greatest of ways.“
“I was informed the ownership of this establishment is fairly new. That said, the food is very good, (albeit the portions slightly smaller than in the past). The prices are reasonable and the restaurant definitely has a local feel despite tourists waiting to get in...“
“Beautiful location! Perfect for a college town, not too busy or crowded. Quick service as well. I got an Asiago bagel and it was very good, chewy, warm, and cheesy. Personally it had a bit too much cream cheese for me, and it was a bit overbearing, but overall it was good!“
“If you're looking for a cookie cutter, bland, no salt breakfast, this is NOT FOR YOU. The food is amazing, Kasha very clearly cares for her customers, and her son walking around trying to help will bring a smile to anyone who appreciates a family business. It's the family atmosphere my family of four was looking for as now locals.“
“The nook is just a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. My daughter's and I have been going for years and even though we always order the same meal (eggs benny) it gas always tasted good. They fo many things for tue community and the same staff has been employed tlfor a long time. Always friendly and “
“We had yesterday and today here, we had Shannon as our waitress both days. She was phenomenal both times. Her attitude was awesome and you tell she loved her job. These are the kinds of people I love to come across especially while vacationing. If you ever have the opportunity to dine at this IHOP, make sure you come for breakfast and sit in her serving area. Thank you Shannon for a wonderful experience we will definitely stop by and seeing on the return trip. Dan, Tracy and Becky.“
“Passed this place 100 times and finally had time to stop in for breakfast.I planned on getting a breakfast bagel or burrito at first, but when I saw they had a special breakfast bowl on offer I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. I asked for it to go, which was probably a bit of a pain container wise, but the workers running the show had no problem and made it happen for me.I went on a short walk around the town while they made it, probably only 10-15 minutes when they also had about 10 other customers so excellent timing even when it's pretty busy inside. I'd probably order ahead next time to make it a bit easier on them as it's quite small inside and the kitchen also looks to be very small. The staff was awesome and very accommodating, the person at the counter made my green tea SUPER hot which I personally love and made sure to double cup it so I wouldn't have an issues holding it. A nice attention to detail that goes a long way with people I think. Can't wait to go back because my bowl was shockingly good, I expected your average run of the mill greasy breakfast meat with decently done eggs and some mushy veggies and was 100% wrong. They used awesome fresh crispy peppers, spinach (could have been kale), onions, potatoes which were a mix of sweet and gold and sausage. I got my eggs sunny side up and they were flawless, whoever works the grill nailed it.“
