Nice folks. But the expensive pizza was passable. But not great.

Absolutely wonderful spot to get food.

Just arrived in town after a 4 day travel from Florida. Pizza was hot and perfectly made. Staff were amazing and helpful as I forgot my wallet (was exhausted from move) had to use my phone for payment.

South Berwick House of Pizza has been an absolute home run for our Marshwood Baseball program!

John and the entire SBHoP team have been tremendous all season long. Whether it's providing outstanding sandwiches and bagged lunches for our boys on road trips, handling countless pizza orders throughout the season, or simply going above and beyond whenever we've needed them, they consistently deliver exceptional service and great food.

What stands out most is the people. Every interaction comes with a friendly smile, outstanding customer service, and a genuine commitment to taking care of their customers. No matter the request, they always find a way to make it happen, and they do it with professionalism, kindness, and consistency.

As coaches, players, and families, we are incredibly grateful for the support they've shown our baseball community. Thank you, John, and everyone at South Berwick House of Pizza, for being such an important part of our season. Love this multigenerational family owned establishment- the food has always been excellent going back more than 30 years. They’ve maintained a stellar standard with quality, service and hospitality after all of this time and I hope they will continue to be here for decades more to come!

I’ve been 2x, an Italian Sub and then a cheese pizza, I thought both were great! Very friendly behind the counter, an old school pizza shop feel. Some back round music playing, my kind of place.

I hate to leave this review because I've order before and gotten decent food and decent service. I'll start with the positive. The cheesy bread was alright. Very flavorful and the marinara could get a chefs kiss. The service was good and the guy was polite. For the negative (I'm so sorry) the pizza was dry and lack luster. Chewy and reminded me of the texture of laffy Taffy in certain areas. I got a large mediterranean pie, cheesy bread, and a two liter of ginger ale. It cost fifty dollars. I had one alteration and that was to add pesto as a sauce base. I got a sprinkling of the pesto. Maybe barely even a tablespoon full. That price is insane to me. If it had cost thirty five maybe even forty I guess I could understand for the quality I received. Unfortunately I don't think I can return to that place ever again. Unless the price changes or something. Can't afford sub par food at that price in this economy when I make it better at home for half the price.

We have been eating here for literally 33 years. You won’t find a better pizza anywhere. Always fresh, fast and the staff is so nice. Look at this pizza? Find me one that looks better than this. I’ll wait.

It’s very hard to find a Pizza/sub shop that makes very good grinders. I can’t eat the fast food version of a sub like those chains that are out there. I walked into your restaurant. I was greeted the moment I walked in by a nice young guy stalking the cool’s. He took my order told me it would be about five minutes. It was less than that. Your shop also carries chips that are very hard to find today, but I grew up eating them, which is the Wachusett chips. The sub was everything I expected and more. I live up in Biddeford. There really is not that good of a selection for a sub other than the fast food style Chain sub shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my sub. And this sounds cliché, but don’t take my word for it. Go in and order yourself something.
