We were so excited about this restaurant on our second visit back to Portland. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. Every dish we had, while presented beautifully, missed each time in taste, texture and/or level of doneness. We were surprised that the halibut was overcooked in a seaside town like Portland. While the food was a miss for us, the cocktails were excellent - I really loved the Turkish Coffee Martini.

With that said, the host and servers were super nice! And the dining room felt cozy, right level of noise, and while simplistic, perfectly decorated.

Altogether, I’d give this experience a 3.5/5.

Great ambiance for our group aged 14-75. The food is incredible with complimentary flavors. It has a neighborhood dinning feel with high end quality food. The staff RC and CT were very friendly, knowledgeable, inviting, not rushing of patrons, and a real joy and pleasure to speak with. I'd definitely recommend for any occasion or like us, no celebratory occasion at all. Great find for dining near where we were staying.

The food was great, in serving sizes to share, and the servers were very personable and had a lively attitude. The atmosphere was comforting with non headache causing lights. We had Ct and Rc as servers and they knew how to make you feel at home, welcome, and allowed you to have a good time.

The linguini dish was a gooey tasteless glob. I guess from reviews the other dishes were better. Sure could not be worse for the price.

Oh my gosh, I'm a foodie, and as many great restaurants as Portland has, South portland has been blessed with this place. It's quaint and has amazing food!!! The staff is so wonderful! the server who brought the food out and was not our server took time to tell us about his first experience with the dish and how it spoke to him, which we loved. The bartender was amazing as well! Love this place! We've been several times now and are never disappointed!

Love this cozy date night spot! The food is delicious and the service is great. We’ve been for dinner and Sunday brunch and have never gotten a meal or drink we didn’t love!

My husband and I visited during our annual trip to Maine this fall. The food was fantastic. The cocktails were creative and the best we'd tasted in a long time. The service was excellent. We will be back!

We had an amazing dinner and drinks… Kelsey the bartender was busy, but attentive and knows her stuff. 10/10 going back - sat at the bar and had Scallop ceviche, lobster brown butter bun (amazing but don’t compare to eventide), swordfish souvlaki (ask for a side of tzatziki).

Excellent food and drinks. Great and friendly service. For brunch, we got Oysters, Lobster buns, Shakshuka, salad, lobster eggs Benedict, and eggs + bacon for the kids. Drinks were bloody Mary (alcoholic) and homemade lemonade (non alcoholic, of course). All very good. Would recommend. My kids said it was 6 out of 5 stars (ultimately saying it was a billion stars). ?
