Valentine's Dinner was a sweet surprise & So Po's best at the Bridgeway Restaurant. Dinner was cooked to perfection. Great...actually the best in the greater Portland area calamari with a delightful dipping sauce! When the waiter says "Fresh" it's fresh seafood sourced locally! Vegetables were cooked to perfection not over cooked. Wine Splits were affordable & excellent. I loved our experience & will be returning for many occasions including taking the grandchildren there. I like supporting local entrepreneurs too.

Group of 9 of us, 4 overall, food served separately to each of us (likely understaffed as most places), taste was fine enough with various dishes including chix parm; chix teriyaki, chix club, turkey club, haddock sandwich and pastas. The atmosphere was nice enough and not too loud with a bar nearby inside. Nice location.

our oder was semi cold (open faced turkey)when served. nothing was cooked properly, and that is a laugh because all food is the re-heat kinda cooking. pathetic for sure. my hubby's fish and chips....more batter on the fish than the under cooked fish. It is a wonder we did not get ill from the low temperature of the food. Someone needs to re- check the Serve Safe Rules. so sorry to write this review. i wanted a good comforting meal.

I lived on the lobster rolls from 2002-2005.No, not really, but it was a great place for lunch. Good lobster rolls at a reasonable price.

Server was friendly, unfortunately the food was miserable. 2 of 3 people got sick after eating. We suspect the ingredients might have gone bad.Edit: Yes ingredients definitely went bad, 2 of us puked after going home

Frozen chicken patty passed off as a sandwich and stupidly overpriced. 1 server so it took forever (not her fault but the companies).I’m sorry, doubling down, but it was probably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had eating out.

Excellent meal. Attentive waitress. Great ambiance. I love the rear parking and entrance. Used to go as a kid with my parents over 50 years ago. It was bigger and more fancy then. I was skeptical going in, because they don't seem to be too busy anymore. Incidentally, I had a delicious Italian dinner there 10 years ago. Their hours are limited. My friend had a haddock chowder cup for $7 that was brimming with a large piece of haddock and yummy. The prime rib was savory. The vegetables were just right. Slightly al dente, warm and lightly buttered. Even the rice was very good. I'm so glad they're still there. It's comfortable and quiet. Private, thickly cushioned booths. Nice background music. Nice bathrooms. They have great old photos on the walls, one of which is likely to be part of the old Million Dollar Bridge. It's in Knightville, which is a little neighborhood lined with shops that has become very popular. Near Cia Cafe'. Oh! They even have coat hooks, which is a plus for me. I hope to return soon for the veal parmesan and next for their signature dish, Spanakopita. Everyone should go and see what they think.

Ordered a 14oz KC strip steak but received a steak that was less than 10oz, I ordered a medium to rare steak with a lot of pink ( this is how I described the steak), my steak was VERY well done. When I told the hostess about the obviously under sized steak, she simply replied “it’s 14 oz’s. Actually my steak was given to my Godson and I received his well done steak, the server miss quoted the steaks as we directed him who got the well done and who got the medium to rare.My Godson was only able to eat half of his steak (to much pink).

We were looking for a place to eat in South Portland on a weeknight and found Bridgeway open. It seems to be a friendly neighborhood bistro. I had the turkey club and fries which were satisfactory if a trifle bland, while my wife enjoyed the teriyaki even though it was a little saltier than she liked.

We were so happy to be able to dine here again. The place was hopping so service was a little slow, but we didn't mind the wait. The wait staff were awesome and the food great.
