This was the first time I had ever tried Chipotle. Some friends and I were looking for food in the area and after seeing the reviews for this place we decided we HAD to go.

The food was good so no issues there, one of my only negatives is that the staff spoke too much English! Opposite of what the reviews promised us. The service was very good up until the point where I got to the checkout. I was fighting for my life, since Chipotle is just a fast paced hellscape...

5 PM? Maybe close to closing? No steak, no white rice, we got the last of the brown rice. Chipotle used to be a favorite of our family but has seemed to go downhill over the last 5 years. We rarely go anymore because we've had bad luck here and in Westbrook too. Kind of bummed about it. The service was excellent though and the woman making our order was very hospitable.

Chipotle is a wonderful alternative for quick and fresh Mexican. During a recent visit to the SoPo store, many items were wiped out. No beans at all. Limited protein choices. And worst of all, beer on the menu, but when I asked I was told they didn’t sell it. Then why is it on the menu? Wouldnt take much to move this to a five star!
