I am obsessed with this place. The owner and staff are incredible, coffee and food are excellent. Prices are super reasonable, and there is always plenty of indoor and outdoor out door seating.

Great local spot, fantastic sandwiches, great fancy coffees, and there's no way that you'll be burdened with too much leftover money after paying for it. High quality though, and the ambiance is great. Super annoying they don't take cash, and I'm looking forward to someday seeing someone in their for their first time melting down over that, that'll be a good show! I dig the local art, and craft made hats/stickers/etc they offer too, which helps connect local artists to the market--pretty rad!

I have been coming here for a few years now and everything is great except for the service. The owner is incredibly rude and condescending towards both staff and customers. I asked for a specific size lid for my drink as there were none on the sidebar and was told, "They're definitely over there unless someone stocked them completely incorrectly." Another customer grabbed the wrong sandwich by mistake, and in an attempt to correct the problem, this owner walked over to someone waiting for their sandwich and very loudly blamed another customer nearby for taking their food. After this incident, he said to everyone at the counter to make sure they were taking the right order. It is abundantly clear that he makes everyone uncomfortable. I sat outside and could still hear his remarks from out there. Everyone else who works here is very nice and accommodating, food is great as well. You are better off going to an establishment that creates a welcoming environment and values their staff and customers.

They have really good breakfast sandwiches. The pumpkin pie flavoring tasted just like a pie.

Great little place. Very busy on the holiday weekend but the staff had great attitudes. There is plenty of street parking and some outdoor seating. Definitely a place worth going back to.

I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years and always get the same chicken salad on greens. I’m a broke college student and will never go back after today. It’s usually so good and fills me up. I was so excited to get a treat after class and the portion was literally nothing, way way less than it used to be. Now I’m hungry and used my money on this BS. :(

Awesome vibe. Exactly what you’d think of if you’ve got a Portland ME cafe in mind. Staff are super nice, they support local artists/craftsmen by selling their wares. Definitely worth a visit!

Pleasure to meet the owner. He was very accommodating to our requests. Lattes were perfect combination of espresso and milk. Highly recommend and even though we did not indulge in breakfast, we will when we return.

Cashier was unnecessarily rude to a woman who asked to use the bathroom room and then kept complaining about her after she left. It was disappointing to witness and awkward to be around. Coffee was above average drip and the food was decent. The staff making the food was very nice. Because of cashiers attitude toward the woman asking to use the bathroom, I will not return to Cia Cafe.

This is one of the cutest coffee shops in Portland and the coffee is incredible. The only hinderance to the atmosphere of the coffee shop is Bobby who works the register. Upon walking in he was incredibly sharp and rude to customers and it was uncomfortable. He was acting annoyed at every customer who was trying to order and he was talking down to everyone who was asking questions about their order. The coffee shop would benefit greatly from having someone else run the register - really disheartening one of our favorite coffee shops was ruined because of a rude employee.

So glad we found this place!! From the moment we walked in the staff was attentive and friendly, breakfast sandwiches are out of this world and caramel lattes did not disappoint! The person taking orders made sure to greet everyone coming in and thank everyone leaving. Overall the place is a well oiled machine and you can tell their staff truly cares.
10 out of 10 and we will absolutely be back!

The owner of this coffee shop is incredibly rude. He is a skinny guy who seems to have no clue how to welcome customers. I was taken aback by his unwelcoming demeanor..

If I could rate this place with 6 stars, I would. The service was exceptional. Just as we got in, it was clear they would accommodate just any change we need to their menu dishes.
The owner was friendly, helpful and extremely efficient.
The chipotle egg we took was outstanding, and the coffee was superb. Would like be to come again.
