Went here for a drink and dessert with my wife. After being seated it took ten minutes before anyone came over with less than half the tables seated and four people working. Ordered a margarita and an old fashion with a chocolate popover to share. The popover came about ten minutes later and our drinks came five minutes after that. The margarita had both salt and sugar on the rim and the waitress didn't even apologize for the mistake. Arguably one of the worst experiences
Good flavors. friendly server.
The food was absolutely amazing. The bartender was very nice would highly recommend checking it out
A previous night the pizza chef seemed to have particular hostility towards Kris but then proceeded to bite everyone’s head that approached the pizza oven area. She wore a chefs jacket which gave her false credibility. This is not what I would expect from the chef. She made her issues public and uncomfortable to customers In the area. She could have taken it to the back but lacked the professionalism to settle this matter privately. I would not want her around me or my coworkers. If this is the standard for the hotel where the wait staff is bullied by the “chef” I will not support it. I’ve had several interactions with Kris and he has been utmost professional and why I return here. If you ask me who I would fire. It’s not him. He deserves 5 stars but your pizza chef has brought you down to 1 for the hostile atmosphere she created. I hope she apologizes. There’s other hypocrisy that irked me. The fact that fake buddy-unionization was happening in public really pissed me off. “Oh I guess you’re not this. Sorry. I tried to fight for your rights, but it’s inconvenient if I actually need to do something.” I guess some people get safe passage through pizza area but others don’t. She definitely made a big stink about it. If it’s an actual issue check the security video: otherwise this is pettiness in action.
Food was terrible and the service was worse. Do not eat here !!!
I stayed at the hotel 3 nights and stopped in to eat on my last night. There was a 20 minute wait so I gave my name and asked that they call. The hostess said no, I would have to stand where she could see me. This means standing in front of a door that leads outside in December in Maine. I decided to head back to the room and order room service.
I had to call 3 times before someone would answer. When the food did arrive, a service fee of $5 was added to my $18 pizza for room service. Not impressed at all.
Love their variety of drink & food choices! I have dined here multiple times and have always had a great meal! Also love the atmosphere! You quickly forget that you are eating in a hotel restaurant!
Have eaten at this place a few times in the past and enjoyed. Went for lunch and was extremely underwhelmed. Atmosphere is nice, server was clearly trying, but the food fell SO flat. It took at least 30 minutes to get our order. The seafood mac&cheese had little to no flavor and the caesar salad was sour. The lettuce was even discolored. On top of that, the bathroom had no hand soap or paper towels. Honestly, wouldn’t recommend anymore unless you don’t have another option. Something has changed!

The only redeeming factor in our experience was the bartender who was a real "Angel". The hostess had to be flagged down to be seated and gave us a breakfast menu...at 1:30pn! The so called chef served our lunch in a ratty, soiled and stained jacket. Ugh. The calamari was rubbery and the French fries had more in common with overdone fettuccine than potatoes. However, the fish was perfectly done and crispy, so, dear reader, how do you only get 1 out of 3 things from the fryer right? The check came with no inquiry about dessert. This used to be a favorite and dependable place in SoPo for a quick bite. We will not be back.

Went for lunch. Located inside the Sheraton hotel. Hostess was the one who made my pizza in her fuzzy sweater cardigan. Server seemed very new or inexperienced. Server and hostess talked loudly about making their own pizzas behind the counter. It was awkward. The mushroom pizza was bland and smelled bad. Two tables nearby were complaining about their food. The restaurant itself is nice.

For the other positive reviews, City Farmhouse Kitchen and Bar was honestly really underwhelming. There was only one waitress and it was very clearly understaffed. The food was also on the higher end price wise for food that has no other descriptors other than painfully average. The haddock tacos were insanely dry and one would expect a location with their own pizza oven on display to make something worthwhile. But ultimately the pizza only had a nice cheese pull to show for it and nothing else. I will say their pasta are their best options and weren’t half bad. The great design and atmosphere of the restaurant was heavily held back by the food quality.

Was looking for a unique menu while on vacation & so many things on City Farmhouse looked amazing. We almost did not go in as the restaurant is located in the Sheraton hotel. We are glad we did as the restaurant did not disappoint. Food was excellent (we had yummy salads, burgers & truffle fries). Restaurant itself looked very high end. If this restaurant were in a different location, it would have been busy but we were only one of three tables occupied.
