Been here twice in the last week. Excellent overall. Great vibe. All the food was really good but the tamales and chile relleno really stood out.

Very casual place offering great Mexican food. They have an outside patio and seats inside, and apparently do a lot of take out business. Be prepared for plastic dishes and forks.

SUPER small burrito. Go to Taco Trio instead.
Amazing food and lovely people! I had the suisas with shrimp and horchata, so flavorful and I love to see nopalitos in New England.

Great chicken tacos
I got their catered taco bar for a party of 25 people and they absolutely exceeded all expectations - fantastic food, generous portions, and they supplied every single material needed for the bar. I would recommend their catering option to anyone!

We were visiting Portland from Florida and happened upon this place on accident coming back from the lighthouse. There was four of us and we ordered a variety of foods that we shared. Every item we ordered was absolutely amazing. My favorite thing was the Mexican street corn, but we also had the Taquitos, Enchiladas, the fish burrito, some tacos, chips and salsa, the queso fundito, and the churros. We could not stop raving about everything and how delicious it was. We also met the owner, Joseph, and learned a lot about his history and life. He was so friendly and you could tell that this food was his passion and “heart”. My only disappointment with this restaurant is that it’s not in Florida and I can’t go to it every day. 5/5 stars!

Really tasty burritos and tacos! It's a small place with patio seating but grab your food to go and walk down to the lighthouse for the perfect lunch picnic.

A little South Portland gem! We came in as a group of eight, even mix of adults and kids, and were able to grab two tables right away. We received excellent service throughout our meal. You order at the front desk and I expected to pick it up there but the kind gentleman brought everything out to us, refilled our chips basket and took additional drink orders. The food was outstanding all around. Highlights were the chimichanga, tacos with fried green tomatoes and the breakfast burrito. Absolutely will come back next time we’re in Portland.
Parking: Street parking available, but limited as Portland is.
