Drove to Portland to go to Kobe for dinner to be turned away 50 minutes before closing as kitchen was supposedly closed

Had the two California roll lunch special. The rolls where good size and tasty. Very reasonable price. Good service, nice atmosphere.

Had a good time at the hibachi. I ordered the rib eye and was surprised by the generous size and quality of the ribeye. Definitely left very full. Would recommend

Worst restaurant experience we’ve had in a long time. After an hour with no food and no chef at the hibachi grill we left. A group came in a half hour after us and had a chef within minutes. Horrible waitress with a bad attitude. Ruined my daughter’s birthday. We will never go back.

My boyfriend got the fried rice with beef, and I got the one with chicken - both were amazing! The cheesecake is out of this world - the best I’ve tried in Portland! The staff was also very nice and attentive. Genuinely liked this place and will definitely be coming back!
