(Updated) Had some delivery issues BUT, the restaurant responded so professionally and truly cared about our experience. OTTO has a history of being fun, delicious and hits the mark for quality/value. Amazing customer service.

It’s really only a carry out location. No fountain drinks, and there are only tables outside. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cobb salad chicken was dry and dressing was bland. Pizza was tasty and crispy.

I follow an influencer @autumn.acord who raves about this place so we had to try it on our vacay to Portland! Great pizza, did not disappoint. We got the hot honey, pepp and goat cheese. Bomb. Caesar salad was awesome too. We took it to Willard Beach not far down the road for sunset dinner.

Horrible quality control. I ordered mushroom & bacon, the box said mushroom & bacon, but the mushroom was almost invisible. You pay extra for each topping, but I got cheated on the mushrooms. When I told my friend, she said that her orders from this Otto's (on Cottage Rd) are like that in general. Sometimes fine and sometimes one ingredient is almost missing. My crust was ok, but she reported that sometimes the crust is very overdone. Buyer beware.

I didn’t love the mashed potato pizza slice that I got- the bacon pieces were chewy and unappetizing, and it doesn’t reheat well so it felt old and dry, even when I asked them to heat it more with hopes that the cheese would get gooey again.
However, the small cheese pizza my partner got came out fresh and cheesy and delicious (and as a New Yorker I have very high expectations)!
The staff is friendly and they let us hang out for a while as we waited for the rain to pass. They have a nice patio outside when the weather is nice.

I have had consistently horrible experiences at this location, from rude staff to badly prepared food. The last straw was when I explicitly explained an atypical food allergy and was assured that the pizza I was ordering was not prepared with that ingredient, and that the allergy would be noted. When I got the pizza home, I found the ingredient I’m allergic to on the pizza. This is inexcusable at a restaurant which proudly proclaims its ability to serve those with food allergies and sensitivities.
We ordered take out from the Cottage Rd location in South Portland. The pizza was ready in 25 minutes and was nice and hot when we opened it at home. We got a mashed potato, bacon and scallion pizza and a pepperoni with old school style sauce ( sauce under the cheese) and we added green peppers to half of it. They got the order right and the pizza was delicious! We didn't order the bread sticks this time around but they are yummy!

Excellent pizza! Has a college area vibe to it with very limited indoor seating, but tables and chairs outside (not very many though). Recommend you pre-order due to not very much seating area. Overall, great tasting pizza for a very fair price.
