This restaurant is my favorite when visiting the Maine Mall. It’s located in the Food Court. The service is fast and the food is very fresh. The owners are very kind and considerate. When my pregnant daughter was in the line with her big belly (8 years ago) the owner pulled her to the front of the line and treated her to a meal. Great place!

I bought the teriyaki chicken from the food court of mall of Maine, and it was amazing, even better than the ones at restaurants. I think it's the closest to real Japanese teriyaki in North America.

Sarku Japan is fantastic for what it is. Good food and quantity for the price. No frills, not amazing or mind blowing but solid good eating experience when you want a lot of food for relatively cheap.

Always stop at this place when I’m by the mall! Never disappoints, it’s a good amount for what you pay. I always get the chicken teriyaki with rice and veggies! Extremely fast service so even if there’s a line hop in and you’re through it in minutes!!

My two daughters love this place. The food is so wonderful and so good that every time we are in the mall me and my family have to get it. the place is often crowded since it’s in the mall, but no wonder this business is amazing. Love the staff they are always nice and always helping you with your order.

This place is great there chicken teriyaki is very flavorful and the portions are very generous, I always order double meat and have some leftover for lunch to heat up the next day, they definitely take pride in the food they serve and it's always a great meal, can't recommend it enough rather it be for a meal or for a snack like spring rolls you won't be disappointed in the wait.

I ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice and it was cooked perfectly. Chicken was very tender and still warm when delivered. Rice was cooked well, not mushy and not dry. They gave me a good portion with a decent amount of stir fried veggies. The seasoning and sauce wouldn't blow you away but it is still pretty darn good!

Ordered and got exactly what we wanted. Only issue was the containers leaked in the bag covering everything in teriyaki sauce. Wiped it up and all was good.
