Always a pleasure to spend an evening here - we've started meeting friends for Trivia night on Thursdays and it's been very enjoyable.

Not worth the price.Food is priced too high.Bathrooms are fine.Parking situation sucks with very faded lines causing issues with people parking.Staff was friendly.Just go across the street to willows. Better vibe. Better value. Far better food.

We first visited this location of Sea Dog in the summer of 2022, when its focus was on barbecue. At the time, I though the food was just fair and wouldn't have given it as high of a rating. Much of the barbecue was dry and, while I applaud them for trying something new, I felt like it wasn't a great fit. Now that they've pivoted to the menu featured at their other restaurants, I'm much more impressed. I've had one of the best burgers yet during our time in Maine at the South Portland Sea Dog location. The staff is friendly, and the location has both great indoor and outdoor seating.

The food lately has been hit or miss... Yesterday was a huge miss. The burgers we so over cooked, that one side was burnt, couldn't even cut it with the side of a fork. The fries weren't "fresh"... they had that texture like they had been sitting for a while, hence no flavor. It will be a while before I go back.

bowling expensive and was constantly shutting off during our bowling time while the minutes ticked by. the lane malfunctioned at least four times

Liked the environment! Enjoyed the musician very much. We met several of our friends there for drinks, and we felt our server took offense to that as service was getting to have to flag him down to get anything. Enjoyed it though very much.

Grabbed a late bite here - just before closing and got treated like we were there when they opened. Friendly and prompt service. Started with a flight of beer, and then got pint of the "sun" Wife had this amazing martini - Wife's shashimi was delicious. Can't recall what I had, other than a good bowl of clam chowder...might have been the The chicken tenders were ok. Kids pasta & the fries were subpar Restrooms: Clean Ambiance: lively Parking lot: open. lit. free Service: good Beers: cold and tasty Would recommend: Yes Would re-patronize: Yes!

The food was great, but the prices versus the portions are too high, spend +70$ to fill up 2 people.

The place was empty and waitresses standing around. Waitress approached table and did not mention anything about drink specials, we had to coax her. Slow delivery. We waited and waited and after about 20 minutes of sitting and unable to get a second drink i went to the bar to order my own. I had sun glasses on as I had just had eye surgery last week. I ordered and they said they do not have that one and they would send the waitress to the table. A wiry looking manager approached the table in a hostile unfriendly manner asking if we had a problem and what the issue was. I responded I was trying to get service at the bar. His manner and demeanor was hostile and his body language was aggressive. (I had only had one drink all evening) He then calmed down and said actually we do have that drink, it arrived tiny cocktail bowl, maybe 6 oz = = $14.00. We had to flag another waitress down for napkins and after waiting and waiting we had to go to the bar again to pay the bill. i am 54 and this is the single worse experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I believe I was judged because I had sun glasses on due to eye surgery. Customer be ware of treatment. You expect a stress free environment when you eat out. There were also so many free tables and it was an adult night out. They sat us next to a table of four small children. The way the waiter approached our table because I walked to the bar for a drink reminded me of a bad airplane scene.

Great tasting food, good entertainment if you're lucky enough to snag a lane, and some interesting drinks. It's obvious that these guys are making some positive changes, and I'm happy to say that they are for the better. Give them a shot!

Food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but the best part was our server, Nate! He made the experience 10/10 for us. Attentive, courteous, and lovely all around! Great job, we will be returning!

The food was good and the person bringing it out was charismatic and nice! Our server (Brendan) was attentive and nice). The bartender was a female and she looked very busy when I tried to order a drink through her but was extremely kind. I overheard her ask a male manager for help(Ryan I think she called him?) and he was dismissive and rude to her. She had no ice or fruit to make drinks and absolutely no clean glasses. He was sarcastic and rude with his response. This is not my first negative experience with this manager. We have been coming in for many months and seen many amazing employees disappear and it’s becoming evident management is the problem as I have seen a female blonde manager scream at employees in a belligerent state. I don’t see my family coming back to this establishment since even employees don’t want to. I’ll spend my money on 4 chicken tenders for $18 elsewhere.
