Taco Trio and I go way back. My mom and I would go on special occasions at their old location and my brother would always order the horchata. I can say with certitude that their quality and service has only increased since my time there as a kid. Their California plain burrito was my go to and still is- as I'm pescatarian and it is my favorite option indeed. I adore their new location and am very happy that the have more space to do what they do best. They always give extra sauce cups too... total bonus points. The bar is quite cute and the lighting in the afternoon adds to the overall experience. I want a burrito after writing all of this.

Just a staple for the SoPo community! This food is very delicious and authentic. I never fail to not be satisfied after indulging here. I have tried it all; burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, it is all amazing! Everyone is so nice and friendly. The new spot is great too with a lot of space inside to sit down and enjoy your meal and we cannot forget how great the salsa bar is. (:

Stopped in to have some Margaritas on what turned out to be a day a new bartender was in training. A sight I’d never seen unfolded as the trainee was instructed to pour the tequila first to the glass then back to the shot glass (then back to the glass) to see if her pour was correct. Obviously you’d spill booze while doing so, as was the case. After pointing out the wasted pour from the transfer to her trainer, the response was “you’re right” and then walked off. We were there to drink several each at least and tip nicely. The piss pour drink & service was and up and out for us. Oh, and menu price $11.50 per but charged $12 (a pittance of differential) but adds to the lame experience. Kiss my jalapeño. Adios.

Great spot. And a favorite to go to. Food and drinks is always reliable. This is a counter order spot so service is minimal. One odd thing is you cant buy margaritas and beer at the counter you order food from and have to go to the bar. So unless you sit at the bar you order twice and have to work around the people eating/sitting at the bar. This could be streamlines but its a small issue.

This place rules. The tacos are so flavorful and the hot salsas they make are exceptional. Ignore these negative reviews. In the pic I got 2 pastor and one carne asada and they all slapped.
Okay, I was in Westbrook and still had to come down to Taco Trio before going back to Midcoast! ❤️ Great food! Great atmosphere!

Some pretty good Mexican food for the Maine, but unfortunately the output is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes burritos are small, sometimes they're mostly rice, sometimes chips seem store bought, etc. Not many other options around here tho so keep coming back :) On good days it's good.

Dined in with my mom. Food was fantastic, there was a slight mix up while ordering and we ended up with 2 quesadillas accidently but Asiel(sp?) Was extremely gracious and immediately refunded for the one quesadilla and allowed us to keep the extra... Excellent customer service and food. Highly recommend!! ? ? ?
