Great authentic food and people

The food is really good but sometimes the way they package food in the brown bags just doesn’t make sense. I’ve gotten sandwiches in the past to go that are half out of a small brown bag. But today was the worse yet. I got two of each cookie and they were all stacked on top of each other in a small brown bag. Well when I took them out to put them in an air tight container the soft cookies were absolutely obliterated. There must have been at least ten cookies piled to the top of a small brown bag that wouldn’t even close. No pastry boxes

I work for the city. Hands down the best place to get to-go lunch or just lunch or dinner in general. The ingredients are sourced healthily, the food is delicious, and there’s no corporate greed here. I get a sandwich, some garlic knots, and a water for 13 dollars. The sandwich is full of meats and sauces and cheese. You go to a Rusty Lantern deli and you get a chicken sandwich, bag of chips, and some water it’ll cost you 20 bucks. This place is the best.

My Partner &Mother In Law Stopped In For Some Lunch. Post Mention This Is My First Time Visiting Maine, And Portland ( Maine) In General. The Food Was Absolutely Astonishing. Needed a week's turnaround catering for a gathering of 15 people. Called Bill at Terra Cotta and he said okay! Such a relief. On pick-up day I was shocked at the amount. The servings are very generous. That was nothing compared to the quality, taste, and great customer service. The meat lasagna, butternut squash sausage ravioli, dumplings, sesame noodle salad, cauliflower and roasted veggies, cannoli, peanut butter cookies and sfogliatelle? All delicious! High, high praise for the catering at Terra Cotta. We highly recommend it!!!

Went on a picnic and ordered meatballs, salad, and the Greek soup was delicious. The people are friendly and I will certainly become a regular.
