First time at the 27 Fathoms , fish and chips meal was ordered by all 3 of us at the table . Fantastic food and service was superb. Definitely will be back , seating on the wharf added to the experience , if you have never tried it , do yourself a favor and go .
So here’s the thing, I didn’t have high hopes for this restaurant from go. It’s the only place to eat. That’s never good. Corners get cut, less care is taken when there’s no competition.
CRAB CAKES… NO.
I do not recommend the crab cakes. At all. Aside from being cold (and then rudely interrupted by the waitress when I was telling her this) they are almost all breading and filler.

Probably the best meal I have had in Stonington in a long while, in or out of tourist season. Quick service, nice setting, and very good food quality. Unless you are dying for a pizza, don’t go elsewhere.
