I had a client they met there and I was doing an art piece for them and the coordinates on the art piece or where the cafe is is where they first met and fell in love. The wood was given to them by the cafe, a stick of pine or spruce. Created at Pyro Wall Art.

A great coffee shop that also has excellent craft beers, including a couple on Draft. What more can you ask for?

This is one of my new favorite local coffee shops/roasters. My husband and I travel all over the country, so we've been to plenty of places. They had a nice selection of beans to choose from, and you can pick a French press, pour-over, Aeropress, or drip format. I walked in and asked for something roasty, dark, and smoky (aka not third-wave, lol, though they do have those options too!) — and they delivered, with the delicious Royal Tar bean.
There's no espresso here—but I am totally cool with that; I prefer traditional brew methods because they allow the coffee to shine. 44 North also serves cold brew and a variety of teas, so there's something for everyone. There were a bunch of cool local photographs on the walls—like a pop-up exhibition. Next time we're in the area, I will be back!
