Very friendly and helpful staff. Great variety of food, but everything we had was excellent. Personally, I loved the fried pickles. BBQ Monday had excellent pulled pork. Salads are also very good. Looks like a place where locals go, which I take as a good sign. We liked the unpretentious atmosphere.
Called in for beers and watched a Chicago Cubs game with the locals. Went back in the evening for an excellent meal. A magnificent whole lobster (though slightly smaller than the one we’d had on PEI) with sides, fish & chips and a portion of pork nachos, which was enormous, easily big enough for a main. A couple of glasses of wine were very welcome, whilst all around us the locals were still watching sport on TV. Great, friendly service.
Bar fills up fast. There are side tables and another dining area.
Parking: Some parking on side of building or other side of road..
